I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my concern and dissatisfaction regarding the high fares and monopolistic practices of Alliance Air.

As a passenger traveling between Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand, and Delhi, I have noticed that the fare has been consistently high at Rs 7000 since the airline started its operations. This constant high pricing is causing significant financial strain on passengers, many of whom rely on affordable travel options for essential journeys. The lack of competition in the market has only exacerbated this issue, leaving passengers with no alternative but to bear the high costs.

Previously, flights on this route were priced around Rs 3000, which was much more justifiable and affordable for passengers. Additionally, there is no train service to Pithoragarh, and the only other travel options are buses and cabs, which take around 24 hours and are quite tiring. The current monopoly held by Alliance Air has led to a situation where passengers are suffering due to the lack of competitive pricing and service options. This not only affects our financial well-being but also limits our freedom to choose services that best meet our needs.

And above everything they are charging full fare for a child (5years)!

I urge you to address this issue promptly by considering measures to regulate fares and encourage competition in the market. It is essential to ensure that passengers are not unfairly burdened and have access to affordable and reliable travel options.
