As you are aware AMD Advanced Micro Devices have launched various Ryzen Processors.
These processors are easy to overclock and have a boost frequency more that the stock speed. E.g. Ryzen 350)X runs at 3.6Ghz but can boost up to 4.1 Ghz.
The issue is this is all gimmick by AMD. They have increased the prices of their CPUs so the concept of Budget PC is no longer valid.
Moreover when you enable boost frequencies CPU heats up too much shortening the life of CPU.
So it is not recommended. Ryzen 3600 comes for Rs 15000 but in the end you overpay the cost and do not get what you paid for.
AMD should stop using boost frequencies and prevent overclocking and reduce the cost for long term sustenance.
Else again it's Intel that will win the race! Was this information helpful? |
