Anandabazar Patrika — 14th December - Article about BTS

I know this complaint is repetitive, but I request you to kindly find time and read this. You do have an idea about the population of India. Giving reference to a few fans certainly doesn't prove the whole Fandom to be the same as the cherry-picks descriptions in the newspaper. Yes, there exist fans who are obsessive, but a coin has two sides. Music was introduced to crush the bridge of diversity and bring the spring of humanity together. In a way, the newspaper disrespects Music in general by referring to the fact that "korean language is not really understandable". They have attracted obsessive fans, but their music have saved many lives and have helped people through worse. Much of the fandom raises funds for natural calamities and helps humanity in general. This actually brings out the true nature of newspaper. They only exist to divert the eye of public whenever deemed necessary. If you really want to keep people updated about K-pop, kindly have a proper research about the positive side as well as the negetive side and refrain from only providing outdated and partly-true information. If this news gets out into the international fanbase, the newspaper will gets criticized, not the fans. I would like to conclude by hoping you understand the situation. Thank you.

The age group that genuinely likes kpop is not only censored to teenagers. The ARMY fan community comprises people all over the world with ages varying greatly. Behind every successful acts are innumerable sacrifices and a lot of passion and hardwork. The article is truely disrespectful and unfair not only towards the Grammy nominated Artists but also their families and all the people who had been there behind their success. They work every hour to stretch smiles in our and their families' faces. Accusing us, because we know about their lives doesn't erase the least expected nuisance this renowned paper has created. Atleast we are proud to say that we know the struggles and difficulties they had to endure before the spotlight finally found them. If all the newspaper likes to do is cherry-picking and providing inadequate information about the biggest acts in the world, their authority should be on check. This article not only disrespects Kpop and BTS, but also the whole Music Community due to some of the highly inappropriate statements made in it. Hope you understand the depth of the situation. We will be waiting for a response. Thank you.
