Apspdcl — Wrong Theft Complaint filed / too much penalty

Dear Consumer,

I have a theft complaint regarding my service number[protected]. As mentioned, the stolen item is a 1500-watt AC which I have been using. However, I only purchased a 1000-watt AC just 3 months ago.

Additionally, I have been charged a penalty of 27524 rupees in my current bill. The total amount has been added to the bill without any prior notice from the department. I would like to know the reason behind such a high penalty as we have not used any illegal connections.

Note: How can they add amounts to the bill without any prior notice? We are using only a 1000-watt AC, not a 1.5 kilowatt connection.
