Army — Non payment of arrear orop

1. I am drawing my pension from Canara Bank, Branch Office, Sector 16, Rohini, Delhi-110089 against my PPO No S/017413/2008(Army) and bank account No[protected].

2. Basic pension of all veterans have been revised on implementation of `One Rank One Pension’ scheme by the government and order to this effect have been issued by Office of The Pr. Controller of Defence Account(Pensions), Allahabad vide their Circular No 555 dated 04 Feb 2016(copy attached for ready reference).

3. Though my basic pension has been revised from Rs 12285/- p.m to Rs 13045/- p.m by the bank, however no arrear has been paid to me on this account. On approaching the Bnak Manager, he told that they have not received any instruction to this effect either from Min of Def or their main Headquarters located at Bangalore. I have lodged an complaint with the bank manager but so far nothing has been done to remit me my dues.

4. I, therefore, request you to instruct/provide necessary orders to Canara Bank, Head Office, Bangalore and Canara Bank Branch Office, Sector 16, Rohini, Delhi-110089 so that they could remit me my dues as early as possible.
