This complaint is against Canara Bank – Recovery Office, Shivajinagar (Modern College Road, Pune) and Canara Bank, Gultekadi Branch, under which my case is registered.
I have been facing harassment for more than 15 months despite having paid the full auction amount for a flat:
All proceedings have been handled by the Recovery Office, Shivajinagar, where staff (including Manager, Assistant Manager, and Executive) have changed multiple times during my case. Due to this constant reshuffling, no officer has taken proper responsibility.
On 13th August 2025, I finally received the Certificate of Sale, but it was backdated to 5th March 2025. This is completely unfair and raises serious legal concerns.
Despite repeated visits and notices dated 05.02.2025, 13.03.2025, and 15.03.2025, possession is still not given.
I have been forced to continue paying loan EMIs + rent for my current flat, which is financially unbearable.
Repeated complaints to the Bank, grievance portal, and even senior officials have not resolved the matter.
My request to stop EMIs until possession is handed over has been ignored.
This shows gross negligence, harassment, and unfair trade practices on part of Canara Bank’s Recovery Office and Branch.
Relief Sought:
Immediate possession of the property.
Properly dated Certificate of Sale.
Stoppage/refund of EMIs until possession is handed over.
Compensation for financial loss, mental agony, and harassment.
I appeal to authorities and fellow consumers to take note of such malpractices in Canara Bank’s Recovery Office (Shivajinagar) and Gultekadi Branch.
