[Resolved] Ask Me Bazaar.com — My order was cancelled just before delivery | |||||
Hi, I succesfully placed an order on Askmebazaar.com for a Sony 24 Inch LED TV on the 31st October, 2015 and it was supposed to be a Next day delivery order. Someone from askmebazaar called me on the 2nd November at 11:10 AM. The number from which I received the call is [protected]. The lady told me that the order is ready for delivery and asked me what time slot would be suitable for me to take delivery. She offered me 1 - 4 pm, 4 - 7 pm and 7 - 10 pm slots. I requested for 1 - 4 pm and she confirmed to me that the order would be delivered between 1 - 4 pm today. I waited till 5 pm and nobody turned up. I was utterly disappointed and I tried calling the number [protected]. But the person at the other end cut the call. I then called up the number on the website i.e. [protected] and spoke to customer support executive Sri Sharanya. She told me that the order will not be delivered today and would be delivered only by the day after tomorrow i.e. 4th November. I was absolutely disappointed after having wasted the whole day waiting for the order and finally being told that it is going to be delivered only by the 4th November. I, then received another call from ASkmebazaar.com from a number [protected] at 6:17 PM on the 2nd November. The lady spoke to me in Hindi and told me that Askmebazaar cannot deliver me the product as the price mentioned on their website was not correct and hence they are going to cancel my order. Now, this is completely unacceptable. After having succesfully placed a next day delivery order and after having waited for three days, I finally am told that the order is going to be cancelled for no fault of mine. Please let me know what legal recourse is available to me in this case as I feel justifiably cheated and I want askmebazaar.com to make good for the complete chaotic handling of this order.
