Auto Driver first agreed to take me to my destination running without a meter with the fare being 50 rs for just a 2.5 km ride. He took 100 rs from me to get it changed midway and kept the 50 and returned the rest. He then tried to drop me off at a random gate that was closed and refused to take me to the gate of the residence colony that was 100 mts away.
When I refused to get down and asked him to take me to the agreed-upon destination, he decided to take me there but was arguing all the way and misbehaving with me, telling me that he will throw me out of the auto. When I got off at the gate he was threatening me, and shouting obscenities and also tried to assault me when I retorted back to him.
They don't have meters, they overcharge, then they refuse midway after taking money, and on top of all that they misbehave and even try to assault us.
Govt. should take action against these auto drivers who are rude and act like thugs on the street and harass decent people. There is nowhere to complain. Was this information helpful? |
