[Resolved] Bag It Today — Refund for poor handling / denial of booking in pruchased Holiday package | |||
Sir/ Madam, I bought two holiday packages from Bag it Today in the month of Jan 12. Details are: (a) order no: 527577 dated 28 Jan 12, booking id: [protected] (b) order no: 527574 dated 28 Jan 12, booking id: [protected] Total money paid is Rs 12466/- (Rupees Twelve Thousand Four Hundred Sixty Six only) {paid to bag it Today Rs 11996/- and Book My Holiday Rs 470/- through DD}. I visited Haridwar on vacation from 01- 05 May 12 and stayed on my own expense in spite of having sent all required forms and request for booking of accommodation alongwith DD to book my holiday (bmh) well in advance. Numerous calls were made to customer care of BMH and Bag it today but all futile. No one ever gave booking confirmation. lot of money was wasted in calls too. Humongous infructuous correspondence have been made on the subject and it is reiterated that i do not intend to avail the services of "Book My Holidays" after the pathetic response from them in May 2012. The company has grossly failed to honour the laid down regulations of their own and caused only waste of time and money of the undersigned. It is requested that case be taken up with concerned departments of Bag it Today and Book My Holiday for cancellation of both orders while refunding complete amount to the undersigned at the earliest. Further, in an attempt to retrieve money from BIT services of Akosha were taken paying them additional Rs. 1000/-. This attempt too was a failure. Akosha failed to get refund from BIT. Now, adding to frustration, amount has further increased to Rs. 13, 466/-. I am a defence officer and do not have luxury of time to pursue this case myself, except for writing letters. Can anybody, in our free independent sovereign country, governed by the world's largest constitution, bring justice and penalise fraud company like BIT. I am fighting enemies of the country to keep alive essence of India. Is there a body who can fight evil inside country???? Was this information helpful? | |||
