Subject: Complain for not receiving policy documents.
I am Edwin Samuel Kadia from Vadodara Gujarat. I purchased Met life policy from Bajaj Capital office at Vadodara. Address is Advisory, 2nd floor, Sivangali Complex, opp. Swaminarayan Temple, Harinagar, Vasana Road. I have paid 33000/- but till date I have not receive any policy documents or any other thing. I rang up at office many times on office number but no one picked up I inquired at office, but it is closed. I also found that, my cheques have been deposited to personal account. I gave two cheques of 15000 of SBI bank chque no is 610078 cleared on 19/08/2011, another cheque of Axis bank Dahod, cleared on 6/9/2011 cheque no is 130685 and 3000/- cash on 24/7/2011. I am also given receipt of met life and receipt no. is[protected]. I found that the amount is deposited in his account. I rang to toll free number for number of times but they also did not trace the detail for the same. From 18/11/2011, Mr. Mauik Panchal is delaying by giving time and not giving any details of the policy Before two days he gave me policy no. which is 20113324. But after inquiring for met life, I came to know that it is not on my name but Mr. Maulik says I will get the policy in a week. Following is the details of the staff at office;

I had taken a policy of TATA AIG Life insurance policy no. C[protected] from Bajaj Capital in the name of my son Sidharth Samantaray in the month of Jan 2011. While having seminar with executive of Bajaj Capital (Ms Ruchi Sharma) I was shown a catalogue having some 15-16 advantages of taking insurance through Bajaj Capital. Few points amongst it were like - Premium collection from door, free Rs 4 lac insurance upto the age of 70 yrs, door to door customer service etc. But forget the free insurance they didn't even turn up in Jul 11 for collection of next premium. If such a big company like Bajaj Capital makes false statements (just think Bajaj Company such a huge company, even my grand father was a fan of it), then how can some body rely on others. I am really astonished with this ir-responsible behaviour of Bajaj Capital at Bikaner. I even got a call from Bajaj Capital office from New Delhi and they assured that their agent (the so called executive) will be coming to my door very soon to collect the premium but to no vain. I also know that the office at New Delhi must have informed the Bikaner Office, but who cares, once they have got a customer. But yes I have asked few of my friends who after listening to the benefits of Bajaj Capital were planning to have few insurances from them and certainly now they will never ever visit Bajaj Capital. I only wanted to inform the best and best so called services provided by the big BAJAJ Capital...

I made an investment from Bajaj Capital, Chennai Branch. During investment, Branch Head advised me that she will update the status of the investment status via email. But till now I havent get any reply for my mails. While calling from Singapore, she assured that she will send a mail, but didnt. Also they are manupulating the investment options we requested. So guys be aware of the Chennai Branch, (Mythili Ram). I believe you might loose all the money.

I am a resident for Bangalore. We also happen to be long-time customers of BSNL. Today (Saturday,[protected], we got a call on our BSNL landline from a person by the name Shruthi (Mob no. [protected]) claiming to be from BAJAJ CAPITAL. She said our number had been selected for a special offer that is in tie up with BSNL - a free lifetime Insurance cover of Rs. 1 lac from BAJAJ CAPITAL. She further told that we would get this absolutely free and we would not have to pay any premium or EMI or any amount whatsoever. We were just required to come in to their office with our Election ID proof and collect our original policy document from them.
The address given was:
BAJAJ CAPITAL,
78/2, 3rd Cross,
Near Ballard Residency,
Mayo Hall Stop,
Residency Road,
Bangalore.
She asked us to come in before 3pm as it was a half day. A free insurance cover of 1 lac? For Lifetime? With absolutely no payment or premiums? Where does the amount come from then? Not unless someone is sponsoring this!
I then proceeded to check the website of BAJAJ CAPITAL. There was no such offer listed. Then I checked BSNL website. Nothing there either. Weird! I then contacted the toll-free customer care number of BAJAJ CAPITAL[protected]. The agent at the other end wasn't aware of such an offer either. I was advised to contact the registered office in my city. I then contacted the registered associate advisors network office for BAJAJ CAPITAL on M.G.Road[protected]. I told the agent there the reason for my call, and other details such as name, phone no. and address given by the caller. She immediately told me that the company claiming to be BAJAJ CAPITAL on Residency road was a 'BAJAJ CAPITAL COMPANY Ltd' and was in no way part of the 'BAJAJ CAPITAL' group and that I should investigate the details properly before any investment as BAJAJ CAPITAL would not be held responsible. I then contacted 'Just Dial'. They had BAJAJ CAPITAL registered on MG Road, a BAJAJ ALLIANZ elsewhere, a BAJAJ FINANCE Lending service elsewhere but no BAJAJ CAPITAL on Residency road.
So, this fairly convinced me that this is a fake company abusing the 'BAJAJ CAPITAL' name.
I then contacted the mobile no. given asking for Shruthi pretending to query for further details.
It was another lady who then called for Shruthi and then finally I got her on the line. I asked her to give me the details once again as she had spoken to my dad earlier and I would like to know the details as he wasn't clear. She told me the same story again that out BSNL number had been hand picked for this offer. Yes this was a lifetime general insurance cover for a sum of Rs. 1 lac, absolutely free. I asked her to explain how this works. She said she will get another person to call me back and explain the details. I got a call back about 10 mins later. This time the call was from a Sandhya ([protected]), who claimed to be a senior person and frankly, was quite rude in her manner. When I asked her to explain how this policy works, she just said that the details as explained by Shruthi are correct. So I said, 'we just need to come in there with our ID-Address proof and no deposits required, you guys would register us?' And she said 'No, there is no registration and all. Everything is already done. You just need to come to collect the original document'. That was funny. No registration! No premium! Just show your ID and Address proof and there you go.. your lifetime insurance cover of 1lac from Bajaj Capital! When did life become so easy??
If this was the case and considering the plethora of customers with BSNL, there would be a literal stampede at that claimed office, BAJAJ CAPITAL would be making headlines big time and we would be hearing about this in every newspaper, news channel and surely every customer care agent of both BSNL and BAJAJ CAPITAL would be glad to confirm this info. But No. No one was even aware of anything like this.
When I pointed out to this Sandhya that I had checked with the registered office of BAJAJ CAPITAL in MG Road and told her about was advised to me, she quickly became defensive claiming that that agent had given wrong info and that they are very much part of the BAJAJ CAPITAL group and that she has been with the company for 3 years now as if that should show the credibility of her words or that company. When I asked if there was a still more senior person, say, a manager or someone, I was told that she happened to the most senior point of contact there. I lost it there. I couldn't take any more of her bull s*** or her crappy attitude. I told her to go on with her fake calls elsewhere and not to disturb me ever again.
But certain things puzzle me. When I called the MG Road office of BAJAJ CAPITAL and enquired about this company, the moment I told them about residency road office, the agent told me it's in no way related to the BAJAJ CAPITAL Group. So they were aware of the existence of such a company, so why no action taken about it? Does BAJAJ CAPITAL know that this fraudulent group goes about calling people introducing themselves as calling from BAJAJ CAPITAL and not revealing their real identity. The BAJAJ CAPITAL Group is quite well-known and most people recognize that name immediately. And that automatically makes people believe in this incredulous offer just because it's BAJAJ CAPITAL! This not only dupes people but also spoils the name of BAJAJ CAPITAL.
And another, is there any entity that can be contacted by the public to lodge a complaint about such fake companies? Some organization, a number or an email id who can take in this complaint and take some action?
Well, I have done whatever little I can to stop other people from getting duped. But will I get answers to my questions or will this blog really have any impact? That's a million dollar question!

I Gopal Ram (DOB 1.09.1982) had applied for PAN Card through your comapnay i.e Bajaj Capital Address Nehru Place in the year 2010. You have received the said application form on 18.03.2010. Since then I have not recveied any PAN card or communiaction in this regard. I have only one numaber i.e[protected] ,which probabaly be my receipt number . I have also mailed on 26.03.2011 in this regard your offline customer care i.e [protected]@bajajcapital.com and received one mail on the same day regarding that the matter will be looked up . However, after passing off one months I have not received any communiaction in this regard. I have also written letter in this regard dated 28.03.2011. I am sunil kumar sharma is a client of Bajaj Capital.
My CRM has promised & agreed to open a account in just trade for all type of transction in BSE or NSE
& failed to do so .Before that he ageed ,if problem i will return your 1500 rupees as he taken to open account.
Last three month i am continuously following with him & it is going on today,tomorrow & now onwards stop responding.
Earlier also i have same issue with Bajaj capital & after several communication it has got resolve & i got my money.
But now after several mails ,no one want to respond.

It is for Bajaj Capital Team to get involved & resolve the issue.

My personal observation is that either CRM is not aware all norms or they are doing all these activities knowingly.
People has to think before taking service from them.

Govt also should take some action so that these companies can't publish false statement in their website.

this is completely fraud or cheating.

actually a have applied the sattelment for provident fund.which i didn't get yet.
i have contacted them a lot of time,but no one is responding well.

A representative named PRABAKARAN, from Peelamedu branch came to me and explained well about the products of Bajaj Capital. I agreed with SARAL JEEVAN and gave him by cheque Rs.6000/- for the first three months premium. After three months, I was unable to give him by cheque due to some personal reasons. He asked me to pay by cash to him. I agreed and gave him Rs.2000/- continuously for three months [Rs.6000/-]. But, he did not give any bill or receipt for the amount which I given. So, I started to ask him by phone and direct. But no response from him. Then I stopped the payment due to his fraudness. Then, he told my policy get expired. Now I am going to do some legal reaction. But, plz dont give the cash directly to the representative and especially with the person who I mentioned above.

I had a receipt#1160054 dt 30/03/2010 from Bajaj Capital Insurance Broking Ltd towards Mediclaim Insurance.

But Till date they Not give me covernote & cashless card.

Regarding this I had informed company from august 10 to Till Date, but they are passout the ball from one court to other court.

In Bajaj Capital - Kalkaji, new Delhi Branch. there is a representative Ramesh Madhav. (Ph: [protected])

He took in a form for address change that was to be submitted to HDFC Asset Management ltd. When getting the form filled, he meniotned , it will happen in a day. After 4 working days, when contacted since the address change had not happened, he was extemely rud on phone and said that it is not his job to ensure that it is done. He thinks that he has sent the form.
then he disconnects the phone.

Because of address change not happening. a very critical amount of redemption has not recieved to me on time. I ask Bajaj Capital to take strict action on him immediately.

This is to inform the customers about a very bad experience I had with Bajaj Capital.

It all started from several of phone calls they made to my home when Bajaj capital opened a new branch at Kayamkulam, Kerala in December 2009. What they have offered is that as part of their new branch opening, we have been chosen as one among the "lucky" families to get a fantabulous offer from Bajaj Capital.

Below are the details of the FAKE offers they made to me in person, when I visited their branch

1. You will be enrolled to a ULIP plan with 15% GUARANTEED yearly returns (In spite of the RBI laws not to canvas customers with the past return hsitory as the future guaranteed income)

2. As one among the lucky family, me and my spose will win a 3 day domestic holiday package to one of the any four domestic destinations

3. They will give me a free of cost accidental insurance coverage of 4 lakhs, of which I can claim 40% in cash after 5 years

4. I just need to pay 48,000 as the yearly premium and they will put additional 2000 and make it as 50,000 annual, and my policy document will be showing 50000 as the premium paid

To avail all these, I had to pay the first premium in a weeks time as it is year end. I paid the premium of 48000 as instructed through a cheque.

Approximately one month later, I got a policy document from Kotak Super Advantage Plan which showed up only 48000 as the annual premium on contrary to what they told me as in point 4 above. Upon receiving the policy document, I called up Kotak customer care and came to know that they dont have any such offers of discounted premiums prevailing and I have to check with the agent (Bajaj Capital)

When I called up Bajaj Capital branch, I came to kmnow that the Branch Manager, Ms. Asha who made all these false promises has been transferred to their another newly opened branch at Changanacherry (To get more false business to the company from the new area???) and a new manager is taken up her position (Question 1: Does a reputed company like Bajaj Capital - if it is one - can wash their hands of any such fake selling one of their senior employees made, and why such employyes are retained??)

New Manager affirmed that there will be first year premium processing charges and that is why I am seeing only 48000, and from second year onwards I will see 50000 in the policy. She also said that the tour package details they will send to me in 4-5 months time after processing

...After almost 10 months, in Oct, 2010, still I received no information from them and decided to go to their office, which is almost an hour journey from my place. By that time, all the main staffs were replaced and they washed their hand off with such irresponsibility saying that the old manager must have done a false selling and she has been de-promoted (Shouldn't they be DISMISSED, if Bajaj Capital wants its reputation???). It was brought to my attention that there were several other customers also cheated in a similar way. They also offered me to help by lodging a complaint against their old Branch Manager and they gave me a word (another of its false promises??) that I should be receiving a call from their Customer Service head from Delhi in 2 days time.

Now it is the 10th day after I put my formal complaint and still I haven't received a call from NO ONE...! I know that this is going to be one of their another false promises, and great going BAJAJ CAPITAL with such irresponsible, inhuman and untrustworthy work force..!

I am again taking my time so that other people will get an idea of the service they are going to get from them...

A very disappointed and unfortunate customer of Bajaj Capital.

I have send this mail around 10 times to Bajaj Capital's consumer grievance cell but till now no action has been taken, so i request you to please help me in the same.

I have invested in fd of Jai prakash associates for Rs 50000 for 6 months on 4/12/2010 though bajaj capital.i did not receive any advice copy for the same.i started complaining for the said matter through e mail since 2 months before it's maturity. i got fd advice copy after 2 months from the date of maturity i.e in Aug 10. i again asked for penal interest loss,and i was told by it's official that he will get me fd renewed from the date of June 10 for 6 months but still today nobody has bothered to look into the mater.You give me your mail id,i will show you how much follow up i have made,and how poor they are in response.i have got mental harassment from this unprofessional people.My fdr no is fdrno. is 224470.pls resolve my grievance and help me in getting penal interest paid by Bajaj capital for this so called mental harassment.also get me my fd renewed from the june 10 only. my e mail id is [protected]@rediffmail.com

I have filed my IT return through Bajaja Capital , Raheja Arcade,Koramangala, Bangalore. I have not received my IT Return acknoledgement after one year also. They said that it is lost and they don't know about it. I had filed through Mr. Purnachandra now he is saying he doesn't know about acknoledgement and if you need you need to file it again through some other agent because we are not doing this year. I paid rs. 250 against filing of IT return to them.
