[Resolved] Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation [BMTC] — Issuing of ticket | |||||
Bus no : KA01, FA615 date: 30th June 2016, time 10am I got in from CMRIT college stop. The conductor was busy talking in phone. He came after 5 min. I handed over 6 Rs for ticket till Graphine India Stop. He handed over 1 Rs to me, he kept 5Rs with him, without issuing ticket, he went to next passengers. When i asked him for ticket, he said its not required. When i insisted him to give a ticket, even then he kept neglecting and saying it is just next stop. I told him there will be checking in the graphite india stop, even then he dint seem to care. He gave me already used ticket of 14Rs which was given to somebody else. I did not get time to argue with him and in no mood to start a fight in the morning. This is very unethical behaviour. I have experienced this before many times. The conductors take ticket from people who are getting down. They give the same ticket to another person. not able to attach the pics of conductor and ticket. Hope some action will be taken. Oct 9, 2017 Complaint marked as Resolved This issue has been resolved to a great extent. Now the conductors are issuing tickets even for short journey..
However, there are still some conductors who talk nicely and avoid giving tickets. If you are stern, they will issue the ticket. Still a long way to go for BMTC to be called as the best!
