Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation [BMTC] — reserved seat for pregnant woman

Hi,

I am a daily commuter of bmrcl. Today on my way back from rv road metro station to mahalakshmi at around 5 to 5.30 - i went and stood near the reserved seats as there were already 2 sr. Citizen (They were quite old) sitting. At majectic metro one of the sr citizen got up and i took his seat as i am a 5 month pregnant lady. Immediately a handicapped person came near my seat so i decided to give up the place as i felt that his need to sit was more than me.in the following station (Mantri) the other sr citizen lady who was seated got up to leave and offered me her place. On any other day i would have continued to stand but today specially i was feeling very weak and light headed, so i decided to sit immediately. Within a min or 2, there was a man who came up to my seat and insisted/forced me to get up. He just kept on insisting and saying i am 75 yrs and this seat is for sr citizen. From his uniform he seemed like a lawyer and didn’t look anywhere near the age mentioned. As per my judgment he should be in his early 50’s or mid 50’s. He was also very much fit and fine and didn’t look fragile at all. Due to this i pointed him the sign board on top which also says that the seat is reserved for pregnant woman. But he didn’t listen and forced me to get up. To avoid arguing i got up, but in an urgency to sit he starting pushing me badly and i started getting hurt physically.. By this time i was totally in tears and told him not to push as i am getting hurt. By looking at the crowd noticing me he just walked away from there.

There is absolutely no humanity left in few people. Bmrcl has no security inside the train to keep a tab of such harassment. There are so many people like these who take advantage of the sign board even if their need is not high.

Would be really great if there is one or two seats reserved in every coach only for pregnant woman so that men like these don’t come and force woman for their comfort.

Pls ignore this complain is about Bangalore Metro and not about BMTC

i am studing BASLP 1 year. i apply the pass through online and i recieve the messange through E mali . and when i login my bus pass my photo is not there so how to change that. can you please suggese about that.
