Sub: Request for replacing water meter

From last one month my water meter is not functioning because of leakage near meter and half of the inflow is getting wasted .

I have informed this to water meter reader (Mallappa) and also at BWSSB RT Nagar. They assured me meter change with in couple of days.
From last one monthy i have been following it with them, but no action is taken yet. Always giving reason meter is not available or plumber not available.

My another concern is water is getting wasted.. and concerned people are least bothered about this.

Water meter reader (Mallappa) also informed me that, for new meter I have to pay around Rs. 2100 for which i agreed.
But till today it is not replaced and i request you take the corrective action on this ASAP.I am facing lot of water problem and also water is getting wated because of Irresponsibility, neglegence of BWSSB representatives.

    Hello, the main sewage pipeline has some blockage and causing issues to many houses in Vignananagar, 21st cross, Bangalore-75. Many people have complained but nobody turns up or tries to resolve the issue from this government run agency !. I called upon private sewage clearing agency and got the pipeline from our house chamber to mainline cleared up, but because of the blockage in the main line, problem re-occurs within a day or two. Is someone accountable there who can answer please ?

    These govt muppets seem unresponsive. Had lodged a complaint 2 weeks back to no avail.

      In Rajmahal vilas near S M Krishna Residence KEB have dug the road to give connection to an apartment have damaged the main water line yesterday . Water is leaking and has stopped water supply to my house. I tried the Helpline Number but its out of order . I reported to the water station but they they lifted there hands up as the maintenance contract has been given to L&T. Its most unfortunte there is no proper system to give solace to the problem faced
      Their is no water supply in my house from past 20 Days.I have given the complaint in BWSSB office, but no action.Request the concerned authorities to take immediate.

        Hi,
        I am residing in the Mahalakshmipuram area, Bangalore. We are under the jurisdiction of BWSSB, Modi Hospital Road, Mahalakshmipuram, Bangalore.

        Our old meter was changed to a new one in Aug 2016 as has been done all over our locality. But due to wrong reading in the Aug 2016 bill wherein the Change in the meter and its reading number has not been accounted, our water consumption was shown as 90, 000 Liters per month instead of the average of 16, 000 - 17, 000 Liters per month. Please refer attachments.

        This error has been brought to the notice of the office by physically giving a letter. But till date the error has not been rectified and the Feb 2017 bill is showing Rs.8, 698/- as due. Number of complaints to the AE there has not solved this issue.

        Please refer the consumptions graphs from Mar 2016 to Jul 2016 and beyond. The spike in the consumtion is clearly due to the change in the meter and not taking care of the offset reading in Aug 2016. Further, the department is trying to slowly reduce the consumption to approx. 20, 000 liters which was the original consumption before the meter change. All this shows that the department is trying to hide their mistake and making the consumer pay.

        Please refer all the attachments and the complaint and the acknowledgement received. Hope this will be resolved at the earliest.

          I would like to bring the following for your kind notice to rectify the defect As per the provision available i used to pay the water bill on line In the month of Dec.16 and Feb17 I paid the bill on line. But it was not updated in your record As such i received an arrears bill in the month of Jan.17 and March 17

            I am residing in 3rd cross, Muharram Masjid Road, Bhuvaneshwari nagar, Sultanpalya main Road, RT-Nagar(Post), Bangalore-560032. I know that only one CMC connection should be given to all resisdential house.

            In my area, I can see many people holding (2 to 3 CMC connection, direct connection from the main pipe) .They are getting this done by paying money to the person (Muniyappa) who is in-charge of water supply. People who are holding single CMC connection are facing water scarcity, and i have taken this to him but he didn't come back to me.

            I request to take this complaint as an high priority. I have enough proofs to submit. If multiple connection is possible then i am ready to go with that, if not then remove all the multiple connections and direct connection from all the houses.

            If this is not solved here then I need to proceed further to solve this.

              There is leakage in sanitary drainage system of my neighbors house. The surroundings are polluted and leading to diseases like malaria, cholera and many more.

              since from 10 days. by which it is resulting into bad smell and causing serious health problem. So Kindly the office may look into the matter and solve the problem.

              There are childrens live in the locality.

              The owner of the house is not responding,

              I request you to resolve this issue as early as possible.

              This is in regards to SC charges being charged to RR S-230420 but there is no borewell in this property, everymonth Rs300 is being charged in the bill.

              Request to cancel the charges which is being charged incorrectly.

                Near BM MARVEL , Sanjeevini Pebbles sewage water directly sent to the drainage

                Sewage of toilet water is directly sent to the drainage which is blocking the complete and very unhealthy complianed to swatch bharath mission also please help on the same.

                This need to be rectified and the measures of constructing bathrooms was not taken there is not permission to construct the batrooms without the norms which is directly left into the drain which is blocking main sewage...

Inspite of various complaints our efforts are worthless . Least hoping that the matter is bought to your good office and u understand the pain of living without water . I would also like to highlight we r forced to get water from road taps which is a tedious job even for toilet. Hope you understand the seriousness of the situation and do the needful .

                  I received the bill amount of INR.451 in the month of Nov’16 & I have made the payment on 6th Dec’16. But in next month I received bill including previous month arrears totally INR.935 but here I paid only INR.500 because I have already paid previous month.

                      I have purchased the Subject house during 2004 from Mr. Mahadev Patil (who is Brother-in-law of Mr. L.S. Kandappanavar and staying nearby at Krishnappa layout Retd AEE BWSSB).
                      However, the billing was changed to non-domestic about 18 months ago, as I had rented the house for a school.
                      Due to heavy losses, the school has not paid the rent for more than nine months and also not paid the arrears of bills from BWSSB and BESCOM.
                      Now the school is closed since more than one month and I have paid the arrears of Rs 10063 on 09th January 2017 - after enquiry at your Sanjay Nagar & RT Nagar offices.
                      I was told that we can get the conversion in billing only after paying the arrears amount.
                      By the time, another bill is received (without updating the amount paid) for Rs. 11397
                      When I visited your office again on Friday, 13th January 2017, I was requested to pay only balance amount of Rs. 1334 by cheque (in view of new currency notes).
                      I have obtained receipt for the same as on 13th Jan 2017, and the same is updated in your records as on 17th January 2017
                      Since I have already visited your office more than three times and also since the conversion to domestic is very urgent, I request you to permit me to do the needful immediately, as I don't want to return empty handed once again.
                      Also, I will produce all documents for change of name (sale deed, khata, tax paid receipt, etc) to do the needful from your end.
                      Please let me know when I should visit your office, one last time - TO COMPLETE BOTH THE FORMALITIES WITHOUT FAIL.

                      We have complained about sanitary blockage. No action is taken on this. Also we could not reach them for further enquiry. Their call centre number does not work at all.

                      Complaint number is 221585.

                      First problem to be resolved is that customer care should be reachable. Second problem is to resolved the sanitary blockage.

                        Kindly close the gutter in Kodipalya of[censored]ttarahalli Kengeri Road. There are about 5000 houses. The stench is unbearable. Kindly arrange to close it. We will be very grateful. It is a upcoming locality. Huge Flats are coming across the Vrushbavathi gutter. The Gutter being in open state is attracting foul smell, anti social elements and spoiling the environment.

                        It will be a great boon to all o[censored]s if the gutter is covered adequately.

                        Please be informed that there is no water supply in our area Wasa layout DODDANAKKUNDI even once a week. Also the supply is during the night after 10 pm. Which is very difficult to get up awake since all are working people
                        Sir I stay at agara my bill was mentioned as domestic in the January bill and now it is mentioned as partial non domestic ? Why is it sir and my bill is almost come trice the amount I normally pay

                            This is to bring to you kind notice that for the RR no S-58992, the total bill show in the online is not as per the bill provided from the area inspector.
                            Online billing amount is Rs.3251/-
                            Actual billing amount is Rs. 6230/-
                            We are not able to do the online payment for Rs.6230/- and we can only do the online payment for R.3251/-.
                            Hence kindly request to check the discrepancy, so that online payment can be done.

                              Water getting wasted as there is a possibility that the water supply pipe is broken by the people who live in slums nearby and the water is getting wasted whole day and now its a place for pigs to take a nap and mosquitos to breed.This is there from quite sometime.please take action at the earliest and give separate water supply to the slum people so that they will not break the pipevagain after you people tepair.
                              This building brigade gardens in church Street has a broken tap that has been leaking water for the last 1 month, they have still not fixed the tap even after I have repeatedly requested them .Lot of water is getting wasted .

                                We the residents of gurudarshan layout, vidyaranyapura face water problems regularly. The water is left only twice a week which affects daily. We request to leave at least borewell water regularly.

                                Without going work, we should be filling water. It affects our career also. Not able to do washing of clothes, dishes. Cooking becomes difficult. We have to pay water bill which is high. These problems we are facing more from last 6months. We are not so rich to get water tankers daily which costs R's 250 per half load. We stay in rented house. It has become torture without sufficient water. It's residential area. Household work does not happen as water is basic need.

                                Please consider the complaint and request to solve it.

                                    No Water from past five days and no reason given for disconnecting the supply or no prior information and no unpaid dues pending. Water supply to other houses in around the area is proper even new water line connection also given to the other roads only 5th Main Lakkasandra is yet to get new water line connection. No clue whom to contact and no proper information .

                                      Hi, I stay in an apartment at Kodichikkanahalli, Bangalore . We see that a borewell next to our apartment complex is being used for commercial purpose.Everyday tanker carries lakhs of litres of water to private parties, this has caused our apartment borewell getting dried up .Is this not illgal ?. Drawing unlimited water from residential areas would hamper all other surrounding water sources . Please guide me on our next step of action.
