In between 7th and 8th Main, 5th Block, B E L Layout, there is a BWSSB land with a disused well. This property is overgrown and is home to many snakes, rodents and also for anti-social activities. Monkeys from the Mango grove opposite make frequent raids and steal and destroy clothes, vessels, etc. There are 2 dumpsters in front of this area where hotels dump their wastes and a congregation of dogs meet here every night and fight over the food causing danger to people walking here.Adding to the misery is the fact that the street lamps do not work in the same stretch.
My suggestion is to fill up the disused well and convert this property to a park. Or if it is up for sale, I will buy it and build a hospital.

I am resident of HMT colony (231/A) there is huge drainage leak right behind my house and its been 6 months now and it has become so big like a pond and due to which there is foul smell huge amounts of dirty and variety of mosquitoes in the number of millions .

There are already 10 people became sick and some are taking treatment in hospitals because of this drainage.

We kindly request you to sort out this issue for us. It’s really scary for one to have a sewage flowing in front of the house, in which there are infants, children and pregnant women, and when the outbreak of chikungunya and dengue epidemic is there.

Even the Bwssb staff was not helpful. Please help to solve the problem by laying proper pipes .

Please kindly look into the matter seriously and do the need.

For the second time in the past 3 months, our water supply has become contaminated with sewage and emits a bad smell. When it happened last time we had to empty all our water tanks and clean them and wait for the problem to be rectified which took around 10 days despite our urgent complaints. Now we have to go through this all over again!

Apart from the severe inconvenience and expense (we had buy water from tankers) this is a very serious health risk. Many o[censored]s fell ill with diarrhea which lasted for a week. More serious health problems like cholera and typhoid can indeed occur if people do not take preventive measures quickly.

What is even more distressing and very annoying is the fact that the BWSSB plumbers who attend to the job do a pathetic and shoddy job in fixing the problem. That is why these problems keep recurring. Is it so hard for BWSSB to ensure that problems are fixed properly in the first instance?

BWSSB has dug up huge trenches in the Main streets around Laggere Main Road and most other approach roads to Laggere, Peenya 3rd Phase, Bangalore.

The area which spans around 4 square kms and houses atleast 75000 to 1 lakh people now has no connectivity since the buses are not able to ply the streets and the cars cannot be taken out of the garages. Huge trenches have been dug out both in the Main streets and in every side road, right in front of each and every house.

The work has been going on from more than 3 months and has already taken 1 person's life and has left several people injured.

The dust and dirt caused by this activity is unbearable and is causing several health problems to the residents. The work is simply taking atleast 10 times more time than what is actually needed.

It is a shame on the part of BWSSB and BBMP for such lousy planning and execution of such a huge and important project.

It is high time for the concerned officials to wake up and respond to the concerns of the residents.

But after February, we are not getting any water supply, Due to these problems, we are forced to purchase water every week from the local water tanker for Rs.500 per week. We are staying at 19th a cross of egipura, Bangalore 560047 near Rama Temple.
The drainage / sewage system at this location is clogged. We have made repeated complaints to the department over phone on 22238888 / 22660000 till now no action is taken it is almost 4th day from the time complaint is been given. It is requested the authorities direct personnels to clear the cloggage / blockage as it is emitting fowl smell to thne residents located.

Hope immediate action would be initiated to overcome the problem

I am a resident at 109, 10th cross, Muneshwara layout Attur Yelahankanewtown Bangalore560064 with borewell water connection, my Bwssb RRno 58353/YNK/N4 sub dn. The water is supplied 10 days once from layout borewells that too on complaints to 22238888. But the valve man it seems has some nexus with water tankers and these tankers do supply water day and night and they also draw water from borewells in our layout only. The problem is when...

We stay at BTM Layout i Stage , 17th main , ii crs , there has been garbage collection and dumping menace. The smell and the dirt that has spread through out the area , has spread diseases , and a large number of tenants are vacating their houses.

This place has become dumping and sorting area , please make some arrangements for this dumping and sorting to be eradicated.

This complaint is lodged on behalf of all the neighbours of the BTM I stage , 17th main , ii crs.

This is all about the water supply problems in our area near
Venkateshpura, Ramatent Road,
5th and 6th Cross,
Munivenkatappa Block,
K. G. Halli Main Road,
Bangalore - 560045.

In this area water is supplied only once in a week on Sunday. even though, we will never get sufficient water on this day to manage whole week. We have been informed that the water will be supplied twice in a week i.e. on Sunday and Wednesday, but it will be given only once in a week on Sunday only, no fixed time for the supply of water.

From past 2 months no proper water supply is given to this area, there is no one to accept our request regarding this problem for this area, we don't know the leaders of this area what they are doing.

We are in huge trouble, please do the great favor for the proper supply of water for our area.

there is a cauvery water pipe leakage on 8th main road in ISRO Layout.

i placed the complaint yesterday and still it has not been set right.

From my past experience , this office does not respond quickly to such complaints...due to lack of workers..or is it plain lethargy?

will the higher officials in bwssb find out the truth?

I have been received outrageous bills on my water meter when the capacity of my sump is only 2000 liters. Initally my bill never used to exceed Rs. 150/- per month but now I received bills for Rs. 999/- etc. I was told to call a person by the name of Ravi at [protected]. Everytime I call he says he is busy to call some other time.

Please advise what needs to be done. I am also submitting a written complaint to the BWSSB..

my name is mamatha. I reside at prakashnagar . I dosn't know how to approach you. I recieved falt water billing for one year from december 2009 to november 2010. even after minimum usage of water only 2 persons we were reciving bill more than Rs 500/-, we asked the staff of water department they are not ready to agree to it. We know the usage limit. please help us how to retrieve the amount from them.

II am a resident of panduranganagar sahyadri layout residing at (#79 1st cross sahyadri layout bannergatta road panduranganagar bangalore - 560076) this is to inform you that they ( BWSSB) have dug up the road for laying underground chamber pipeline last month and have damaged few underground water pipes.So i request the concerned authorities to initiate quick necessary and practical action in stopping the drinking water going as waste during the supply days into the gutter/roads.Please do the needful and oblige.

We are facing drinage block in our road from one week,many times we have complained to the authority nobody have taken responciblity to solve this problem. our bath rooms and toilets are blocked...water is flushing inside and outside to the road even tresspassers are also facing problem... so we request you to enquire this and take a suitable action.

We have recieived a bill amount of Rs 4110.00 for our water charges for the month of January which seems absolutely incredible. When we contacted the local authority (BWSSB) for this, we were told to replace the water meter design from the existing design to a U shaped design.This we are willing to do, but is there anyway the bill of 4110.00 be challenged?
We did ask the incharge to consider this bill and reduce teh amount, but they seem very strict about this being paid, however they have given an option to pay in installments, but my concern is there is no way that we could have footed such a huge bill for a month.We are a family of 6 members.
So, kindly help with this regard.

We the residents of HBR Layout 5th Block are facing acute water shortage problems since last 4-5 months . Previously, we used to get water every alternate day, i.e. Monday, Wednesday and Friday. But since last 4-5 months, we are getting water, at a very low force, that is totally insufficient even for a 2 members family. Sometimes the water supply is completely stopped and the residents are forced to buy water from private water tankers .Request the concerned authority to look into the matter as soon as possible

Dear PRO, This is the continuation of water problem in HBR 3block 3crossKalyanagar. When ever we contact the AE Chelapathy his answer is either remind me in the morning 7'Oclock or will come to the spot. Reminding is on promtly, but visit is yet to happen for the past 1and Half month. We have no feed back. How long will it take ???????????????????????????????.

We are residents of Dynasty Layout, Between Lumbini and Manyata Tech Park, Adjscent to Kensri School, We had registered a complaint on the 29th of Dec regarding the drain overflowing into the adjacent site and accumulating there and the complaint No. WAS S1662 but barring the regular followup calls from the call centre or the BWSSB Head office no other effort seems to have been taken.
Kindly look into the matter urgently

Water is only supplied once in 2 days at a very low pressure, and this is only enough to fill less than half our underground sump. This situation prevails on the entire Ashoka Road, St Thomas Town P.O. in the Maruti Seva Nagar Ward No. 59. Letters to our Corporator, Mr Rajendra, MLA Mr. George and BWSSB Engineer, Mr. Gopal Gowda, have produced no result.There are many multi storied apartments on this Road, and all o[censored]s have to rely on commercial water tanker suppliers to meet our daily basic needs.At Rs. 400 per tanker, our monthly average cost comes to 16,000 to 18,000 per month, which we can ill afford.What is most upsettingg is the fact that roads paralell to our road i.e. North Road and Davis Road have water in plentiful supply. Why then are we singled out for such harsh treatment.
Please help us with the concerned authority to resolve this problem at the soonest.Which we are sure you will do.
