Past 2.5 years I am rasing complaint that No water in house, but without fail I getting the bill for every month. Same have been informed with billing person and line man. Still issue is not fixed yet

    Address: Yarandahalli, way to RK township, near V3 shop

    I am staying in Yarandahalli RK township, on the way to our house there are many construction s are going on in the road side with out maintained proper drainage system. All drainage water including the waste flowing through road from past 6 to 8 months. Many small children are walking to school through that road. It is disgusting and not expected irresponsible behaviour from the land owners or govt officials. None are taking any initiative to maintain proper drainage system. Even lots of waste water discharging from some small factories too. Not sure who gave approval to function such companies without maintained proper drainage system. I am trying to complaint this from few days and not getting proper channel. Please take necessary action immediately to correct this issue.

      And I've received another bill of Rs 3, 253 with a due date of Dec 21.

      This is an error. Please rectify the error and reissue the correct bill.

                  Subject: Complaint from BWSSB Consumer Name D E Vinoda w.r.t Wrong Billing in spite of submitting multiple requests in written at AEE (NW-1) Office, Rajajinagar Bangalore.

                  Respected Sir/Madam,

                  We have a BWSSB water connection in the name of D E Vinoda (Water Consumer RR No. W-217042). As she is an elderly person, she had given an ECS instruction through Vijay Bank for autopayment of bills.
                  She had closed her bank account in Oct 2020 as she could manage. Due to national banks merger then, there were integration issues and it resulted in unsuccessful payments. However, BWSSB systems got updated as payment received.

                  We volunteered to report this to BWSSB that bill payments weren't happening in spite of their records showed "no due" or "Paid" from our end as we didn't want to lose a water connection due to miscommunication or systems beyond our control.

                  After multiple visits to AEE (NW-1) office in Rajajinagar since June 2021, we managed to convince the BWSSB officials to reconcile and issue a statement of dues to be cleared. As per their statement issued on 18th Aug 2021, we have paid 11, 865 INR on 1st Sep 2021 through Bangalore One (Receipt No. B-1338W-2170420900109219165784) and this in addition to the interim payment of additional dues of amount worth 9, 469 INR, paid on 29th Jul 2021 through Bangalore One (Receipt No. B-1338W-2170420702907218974909).

                  Issue of Concern:
                  1. BWSSB had started showing these amounts as advanced paid and it further complicated the billing.
                  2. BWSSB has been incorrectly charging Surchare for Borewell (300 INR per month), when we repeated corrected them that we do not have a borewell.

                  We kept clearing the dues as it gets billed and submitted a written request (acknowledged by BWSSB) on the above to be addressed on 30th Oct 2021. It is not addressed and we are made to follow up till date. We have the latest billing for Nov month issued on 18th Dec 2021 and it had the aforesaid listed issues.

                  In spite of we being open and diligent clearing all the dues till date though (it’s incorrectly billed), we feel BWSSB is very unprofessional in their approach in taking timely action. It’s a cause of grievance and feel helpless. In the tough situations like Covid, we feel unsafe to often visit BWSSB office in person with no outcome.

                  We request your intervention and support in addressing this issue and also adjusting the incorrectly billed surcharge for Borewell, till date.

                      in this bill rupees 200 is shown as bore well charges and there is no bore well. where as in the same premises. another another RR N-04431/M9-161. it indicated as zero which is correct. The premises has no bore well. Request you correct the same and adjust the charges for next bill.

                            I paid Rs.2369/- on 2nd July 2021 against water bill no. N[protected] through Paytm but the amount is reflecting in subsequent bills as arrears with interest. I met AEN Sri. Ramesh Yelahanka North2 several times & sent email to the Chairman BWSSB but no action is taken in this regard. I have provided payment proof but where the money gone if it's not credited to BWSSB ? I request for waiver of arrears with interest for the amount paid by me already.

                              There is a manhole just next to my house and is overflowing with foul smell. If i have to go out of my gate i have to stamp it and go. This is happening from past one week and i complained it to the neighbour to get it fixed as it is infront of their premises and is an apartment. Looks like they are least bothered. Kindly take immediate action to get it fixed.

                                    From past 1 month we are not receiving any water in our street. We are forced to buy the tankers. Our neighboring localities are receiving the water but not us.                                         Dear Sir/Madam,

                                        With reference to the subject, I would like to bring to your attention about the issues faced due to negligent and unethical behaviour of BWSSB meter reading personnel in sub division S1.

                                        We are facing the following issues from the past few months:
                                        1. We have requested the meter reading staff multiple times to provide the bills to by fixing in the door latch or dropping in letter box.
                                        2. We request the BWSSB personnel to close the gate after reading the meter but unfortunately they do not close the gates which leads to stray dogs coming inside our compound.

                                        Despite multiple requests and polite explanations, we see that the attitude of BWSSB meter reading staff is the same.
                                        On 13-Dec-2021, we have requested and had a discussion with them regarding these issues, the staff gave the following replies:
                                        1. The meter staff are on field duty to cover more than 2, 000 houses and hence they cannot close the gates in a proper manner for all houses.
                                        2. We customers are complaining because our intentions are not correct.

                                        Consumer Details:

                                        Furthermore, we request you to bring some changes in the meter reading process so that the whole hassle for consumers and BWSSB staff can be avoided at best.

                                        We could suggest the following to be implemented gradually.
                                        1. More consumers are nowadays opting for online bill-payment. This has also increased during the COVID pandemic. As bills are available online, the meter system can be changed so that manual work to provide the bills can be avoided.
                                        2. Consumer address and communication are also updated in BWSSB records and hence the bills could be sent through post which would also reduce the manual work for BWSSB.

                                        We would also like to highlight on behalf of the residents of Eshwara Layout that our intention is not negative (as suggested by the staff) but it is purely to suggest best customer practices from our end and also BWSSB staff's end

                                        We request your goodselves to look into the matter and encourage the BWSSB staff to be more considerate in this regard and oblige.
