[Resolved]  Allahabad Bank, Silao Branch, Nalanda, Bihar — Non Adjustment of Revised Pension

Dear Sir,

I Birendra Prasad is an Ex serviceman pensioner having pension a/c No 1495 (CBS A/c No. [protected]), with Allahabad Bank, Silao Branch, Nalanda, Bihar 803117.

As per Govt. Letter MOD Letter No. PC 10(1)/ 2009-D (Pen / Pol) dated 08 March 2010 and The Principal CDA Allahabad, Circular 430 dated 10 March 2010, my pension supposed to be revised accordingly wef. 01 July 2009. Without calling an application from pensioner, within 2 to 3 month time.

It is understood from said letter that neither separate authority letter required from competent authority nor any request letter required from beneficiary pensioner, the pension paying bank has to do pension adjustment as per circular 430 dated 10 March 2010 automatically.

A survey was carried out on 16 July 2012 by Ex serviceman welfare organization under 4 MAHAR (Border) C/o APO 56 and subsequently a letter was sent on 23 Aug 2012 from Army Unit to Allahabad Bank Silao branch Nalanda, Bihar with a calculation chart for adjustment of pension. So far no adjustment is done nor is any clarification given neither to Army Unit nor to me. (Copy of Letter Attached)

On personal visit on 26 Sept 2012 to bank manager Allahabad Bank, Silao branch, Nalanda, Bihar. It is learnt from Branch manager that action has to be taken by Central pension processing branch Allahabad Bank, Main branch, Allahabad, Utter Pradesh. And they have sent the said letter to them for onward action. Till to date no action is taken to solve the problem either by Allahabad Bank , Silao branch, Nalanda, Bihar or by Allahabad Bank, Main branch Allahabad UP

Kindly look into the matter to solve this pension adjustment problem at the earliest to avoid any further delay as it is already delayed by 03 years, also please inform me if any another details needed to proceed.
