I observed a blue colour particle inside the Sodium Chloride and Dextrose Injection IP bottle while it was injecting to a patient. The particle was very dense and was not floating in the solution unless it was disturbed. (Suspected to be of plastic).
I observed this contamination only after half a bottle was injured to the patient who is my friend. It was shocking to observe such a contamination inside the IP solution manufactured by a leading healthcare company, Baxter.
Injucting such foreign particles to the blood may even cause the death of human.
