I paid propertytax 2 times due to credit card transaction failure in april 2016. Payu (Online payment gateway for bbmp) checked and told that the payment to bbmp has been made twice. Below are the transaction details given by payu team:

Tried complaining to bbmp various complaint sites like bbmp complaints, bbmp sahaya web sites. No resolution for the problem since last one year. This shows bbmp is setting a very bad precedence for online payments.
Recently bbmp property tax website added a statement saying 'we are not responsible for duplicate payments'. This is height of irresponsibility. If government agency is behaving like this, how we can expect private companies not cheat people online. They need to clarify what type of payment errors we need to contact the gateway and which will be handled by bbmp. They can't just say blanket, they don't care about the loss to the consumer.
Please resolve my case as soon as possible.
