We had placed an Order on your Franchise Colour Junction for painting our Building ( AC 03, Street 64, Action Area 1, New Town, Kolkata - 700156) in November 2021. The actual painting was executed over the period Dec 21 to Jan 22. As per terms agreed with the Vendor, we decided to conduct an inspection of the paint condition in Feb 23, ie on completion of 1 year. After a lot of follow up, the person from Colour Junction who had supervised the painting appeared with 2 representatives of Berger on 23rd June. After inspecting the patches ( photos were shared), they attributed the problem to water seepage and poor quality of bricks. I made the following observations -
1) What is the source of seepage on the ground floor?
2) Why has painting peeled off in the middle of the wall while all other areas are okay?
I said that if brick quality is poor, a sample of the brick can be taken from the area where paint has peeled off and another sample from bricks 2 to 3 feet below and the analysis of the samples will prove their conclusion.
The persons said that they will discuss the subject with Proprietor Mr. Guha of Colour Junction and will revert.
It has been more than a month but no reply. On following up, Mr. Guha has said that Berger representatives will give the final response. Was this information helpful? |
