Bethany Hospital — Careless service

Hi, My Name is Sudeep, I am writing this complaint against Bethany Hospital. As, I visited early morning at around 8: 15 AM on August 12, 2015 for my younger brother who was suffering from viral fever and severe headache, Since no doctor was available at the hospital, I was advised to get him checked at the causality. after that I was told to get some prescriptions and was also advised to wait for Dr Manish Deshpande. After a long wait finally around 10 AM. we were able to get him checked to the concerned doctor as suggested by the lady who sits at the counter. The doctor did check my bro, and did mentioned to prebook the Bed as no bed was available that day, which is really hard to believe.I was at work it was 6 PM in the evening.Mom called me and she did tell me that he is really unwell, I rushed at the hospital and told them you guys did not called. they did not.It was unbelievable, at least they must give a courtesy call and inform us if the bed is not available, we might get him checked at the different hospital. I DID WRITE A FEEDBACK NOTE, AND I WAS TOLD THAT I WILL RECEIVE A CALL FROM DR MUGHDA, WHICH I NEVER RECEIVED. SO RUDE AND SO PATHETIC WAY OF RUNNING A HOSPITAL, IRRESPONSIBLE AND THEY DO NOT CARE FOR THE PATIENT WHATSOEVER,

My name is Biju and I had taken my kid to Bethany Hospital, Thane for treating her for UTI. I had very bad experience from their administration. I had cashless facility from MediBuddy and Bethany Hospital insurance department told me that even though you have cashless facility that is already approved from the insurance company, you need to give Rs. 5000 as cash deposit for getting your kid treated, otherwise we will not admit her. Because of the situation at that time, i paid Rs. 5000 and the casher and insurance guy told me that once the final claim is approved within 45 days they will pay it back to my account. On April 24th 2017 she got discharged and on 13th June 2017, I gave a call to them asking it is already 50 days and you did not pay back my deposit. The answer from insurance department was your claim is approved and about refund you need to talk to finance. I talked to a lady in finance and I could see her too arrogant and rude to me telling that when the payment from Insurance company will be credited, then only they will pay it back, and was making the statements like, "it may take 45 days, 60 days, 90 days, i cannot tell you exact date" . Even she made a statement that Bethany Hospital is taking this deposit on the advise of the insurance company only, which i feel totally wrong. Then i was forwarded to a lady who introduced herself as 'customer care manager' and told me that she will check the status and call me back. None of the Bethany Hospital staff took the pain to call me back and update the status. I called back again on today and they told that the insurance company has still not made the payment and they will update me by Tuesday. I don't know if i will get my money back? They might be taking money as deposit from all these patients using cashless facility and keep it in their account for 45 days/60 days/90 days or more without paying any interest. Good way to make money. I am totally disappointed by the way Bethany Hospital responded. I don't know if there are other patients having the same experience.

Trust your brother is well now. I have been treating My mom in Bethany Hospital and found this hospital to be one of the best hospitals in Thane(best than Jupiter).

Reading your complaint I personally feel that it was your duty to followup with the hospital for bed availability and I know that's hard to believe that there are no beds available but that is the fact. You can check it any time, the beds would not be available. This only shows that Bethany is one of the best hospitals till date. Think my dear friend before you write any comment for such silly reasons.
Hi, My Name is Arun, I am writing this complaint against Bethany Hospital. As, I visited early morning at around 8:00am on 23rd Aug for my aged mom (sheetal). She was suffering from shooting stomach pain. I took her to the casualty. I guess this hospital doesn't know anything about casualty. There was one lady doc she came gave her IV. My mom screaming coz of pain. She said we need to do sonography you need to wait till 11:00am coz there is queue(non-emergency) MEANS LEAVE THE AGED PATIENT IN PAIN FOR 2HRS. WHEN MY MOM WAS IN THE PAIN "YOUR" DOC n HOSPITAL TELLING US ONLY ONE THING "SIR PAYMENT KE LIYE BULAYA HAI"
" SIR FIRST PAYMENT KARDO"
What do you thing people will leave the patient in your hospital and will run away?
I WILL STRONGLY RECOMMEND PEOPLE THAT NOT TO ADMIT ANYONE THERE..
THIS HOSPITAL IS VERY CONCERNED ABOUT MONEY RATHER THAN PATIENT.
I will post about your pathetic service on every social media.

Lack of co ordination between casualty, and admission section hence patient remains in wait and watch for room booking. Concerned doctor and casualty gives assurance for room booking but real situtaion is that no rooms remains till next 2 to 3 daya even for priority patients.Hence hospital need to remove this difficulty so that patient does not suffer more.
