I am writing here with an ultimate dissatisfaction, disappointment and feeling of getting cheated by bharat matrimony. When i made a profile in 2015, one person named as sankar babu from bharat matrimony called and offered me "till you marry: option when i was not at all interested to be a paid member since i know that i would not be looking for a bride for next 2-3 years from then. When i mentioned this fact, he told me that under"till you marry option, i can go up to 6 years of subscription if my marriage is not happened by paying 1000 rs every year after paying 9800 rs for the first installment.

As expected i could not find a partner for this time period since i was not that active in doing so due to some circumstances. When i ask them for renewing for the third time by paying 1000 rs, their response is that "we don't have that option to renew for 1000 rs". They have done the same drama during my first and second renewals. Interestingly i have received calls from them, all these periods, just before the renewal process asking me to pay 6000 rs for renewal. When i tell them i am under till u marry option they simply cut the call.

When i repeatedly email them about the renewal they just replied the same "we don't have that option to renew for 1000 rs. I consider this attitude is so rude and absolute cheating a consumer who trusted them and paid them for what they promised. I expected they would keep their promise and trusted with a face value. But they made my impression wrong. I would have never ever paid them rs 9800 if this was their attitude and commitment to customers.

What bharat matrimony thinks about it? You can give fake promise and make customers pay and cheat them with this looting attitude? When i simply searched in google, i understood that you are doing the same trick to so many people. I can tell you i will not let a single rs of me just fooled and looted by bharat matrimony like this fashion. How can you advertise yourself as the most trust worthy matrimonial when you cheat your customers this way, worse than street thieves.

I do take this incident so serious and i demand: either they have to renew my profile asap with the amount they offered, which i have done already done or simply pay me back my full amount with bank interest since i have very rarely used their system and i had no interest at all to use their system and got fooled to pay them. I have secured and saved all my calls audio recording with you from the time 2015 in case if i need to use them.

I expect a clear response from bharat matrimony regarding this to resolve this issue asap (Either renewal or refund fully).

    This is hemanth, dint get the service from your and asking to refund the amount.

    One of your staff called chandru told regarding the offers what and all your agency is offering. As per that condition, i have subscribed to your matrimony. (He told that suppose you don't like our service we will refund your amount like that).

    My family planned to do shopping in pothys and we did as well but we didn't get any offers from you and its waste of time as well as money.

    Before subscriptions, your staff (Chandru & savita) promised that even in pothys also we will give discounts and our company is tie up with them like that. But after subscription, you people are telling that we are not tie up with pothys like that...

    I am trying to call to your staff (Chandru & savita) they are not picking the call. So, please refund my amount. (I have paid 1000rs to your company).

    Refund my amount otherwise i will register the police compliant and tell to media.

    I wanted to buy a membership in Bharat matrimony abd thy didn't guide me correctly abt their services which thy offer and now thy say it's my mistake. I didn't receive complete information. Thy r just seeking money for everything... Nd Cx care representative didn't allow me to speak with manager and he didn't even take my complain

      Raised a complaint against a lady executive of bharat matrimony only to get dissatisfied at the end. She was in the process of making calls to my mother asking her to go for a 3 months plan which would help her get suitable matches but once the subscription was availed, there was absolutely no assistance and still i am trying my luck with this bogus company.
      When i further enquired abt the status update abt the complaint and more suitable matches for my profile then i was told that there's no headway for this complaint as its still pending and much to my irony, executives are hanging up calls on my face claiming unprofessionalism.
      Who's unprofessional here in the first place and even if a customer is irate then you guys should indulge in deep introspection as to what led your customer to use this forum.

        Myself p. Chakraborty take membership in "bengali matrimony" before 6 months ago with lot of hope. My i'd is "b2194490".
        Still not get any proper response. Most of profile fake, phone number incurrect, profile details fake, duplicate profile e. T. C. I have launched complain lot of time but they only give me extra number nothing else. When someone create profile they not verify so i face lot of problems. I have lost almost rs 9000/- but not satisfied their services. I have lost my valuable time, hope everything. Now my request please refund my money otherwise increase my plan atlis 30 days which i have lost. I need your help.

          We have made payment on 17/02/2019 for renewal of membership on both tamil matrimony & christian matrimony (Combo).
          Tamil matrimony activated the same day. But our profile suspended by community matrimony for no reason. Our repeated reminders, and continuous mails on 20/03/2019, they activated our profile. Already 31 days lapse, they are not extending the days.
          We apply to refund the amount for the lapsed period or extend the period. So far no response.

            Hi,
            On 6 dec 18 your staff call me from mobile no.[protected] on my mobile no.[protected]at 13:07 0:16 and ask me for renewal of my daughter's profile id-[protected] but i clearly denid, and said i have already published my daughter's profile in jeevansathi (Audio clip of conversation is with me). Still you people illegally withdraw rs. 5600=00 (Rs. Five thousand & six hundred) without my permission. There was no role of me in this withdrawl so it is a clear case of fraud & mala fide intent.
            I have already logged a complaint, you should refund back my money in my bank account immediately.

            The complaint I posted on

            Anyway in short I received a call from mobile no.[protected]your staff) on my registered mobile no. [protected] on 6 Dec.2018
            at 13:07:16 your staff ( may be traced from the roster dutychart) was asking for the renewal of my daughter's (Disha Kulshrestha) profile ID: H6689013, I clearly refused to get renewal and also said that I have already given it to Jeevan Saathi. (Recording audio clip is also with me).
            You have drawn an amount of Rs. 5600/= from my savings account of Canara Bank without my permission/ Consent.I want my money back in Canara Bank "savings account no.[protected]"

              I received one email regarding a match from mumbai yesterday 12 march 2019 named as vikram lekharajani who accept my interest earlier i was very happy & i made the payment of rs 4700 for six months in hurry because of your customer service agent who called me in between.. & after that vikram started messaging me so badly like a crazy man who was looking for dirty talk i was really very shocked since i never met such kind of illiterate guy on your website when i asked where r ur relatives he said i dont know anything.. About them, he was answering like a fool.. I hold my hands kindly request you to refund my money if not full then upto 3000 otherwise i am going in police regarding fraud... Since i blocked him on whatsapp message got deleted.. Please help me in refund...

                I had made profile for my sister having matrimony id h7497927 and on sunday i had made payment for 6 month membership. And at time your representative shahar bano told me that we will daily get 10 to 14 matches of our preference. But after three days i didn't get even a single match. I didn't expect this type of services from your side. And now when i am calling your representative she is not picking up my call and not replying. I am fed up of this type of service. Kindly reply us as soon as possible.

                  Hello, i want to complain abt a profile that i saw in your site.The name that is given in ur site is alex dcruze, which is a fake id and a fake name. Alex dcruze is from Kolkata, but i think he is living in qatar now. He is using someone else's pictures and also pretending to be that person which he is not.He is using the pictures of a pilot name RAGHAV YADAV who is a delhi based pilot. All the pictures that he had shared in ur site are fake. Plz take some necessary action against this fake id.

And even now i don't see new matches also,. I am very disappointed

                      This has happened before also after, website is continuously calling and harrasing to take the paid membership for this they suspended my account stating i have posted abusive photo. Now yesterday that is 25 feb 2019 without verifying the facts my account has been suspended without any reason. I am a paid member, now i want my money back. User id is y903915...

                      I've been using bharat matrimony for few years for my daughter. So i'm very familiar with this site and services. I've already heard that bharat matrimony has some subsidiary units like community matrimony, religious based sites, marriage service such as matrimony mandapas, photography, bazar etc. Also some social initiatives like bloodbank, eye bank, ability matrimony etc. But shall i ask you one thing, is iccsl is a part of this bharat matrimony?. Or do you have any banking services like fixed deposits or rd? I'm asking this because one of your lady executive in kannur branch is asking my relative to join as iccsl agent and to opt fixed deposit service of rs. 5000 to 1 lakh. She said that iccsl is a credit union society, it's full form is indian co-operative credit society ltd.

                      Is it a part of your company or are you trying to bribe money from us through other source?

                        Hi, i recently subscribed to tum package of bharat matrimony. After couple of days, i received a call from bharat matrimony customer care executive from number [protected] (She named herself as moumita) questioning me the reason of choosing this package. Moreover, she mentioned, if we don't take the assisted matrimony package, we shouldn't expect proper response. My concern is how a customer care executive can question me on the package i will chose? Can it be brought under bm authority ' notice about the impolite behaviour of their employees?

                          I recently wanted to take a membership in Bharatmatrimony, Brahminmatrimony and Iyermatrimony for 3 months but I was given information on fake discounts and offers and been pressurized to take the membership on the same day as the customer service executive told me that the offer would be valid only on that day since it was a Festive day. I fell for the offer and took the premium membership for 6 months
                          She also told me that all the profiles in Iyer and Brahmin matrimony would be available in Bharatmatrimony as well.

                          After few days, I casually checked about offers/discounts on the same Membership level from a different Customer service executive and was shocked to know that the other executive could provide me better discounts even on a normal day.
                          I understood that these fake offers and discounts are to cheat people.

                          I had been taking membership for 6 times and spent around 40000INR in total. I feel cheated now that I had always been given fake offers and charged more.

                          Now I also have problems in finding the profiles in Bharatmatrimony which I could find in Iyer and Brahmin matrimony.

                          I have been cheated badly with the price and with the service

                            An amount of rs.6700/- has been commected from my bank without getting any consent from me on 03/02/2018. When i talked to them, they said that the amount will be refunded within one week. But the fact is that neither i have not told them to renew the id nor they have taken my permission/discussed the issue with me. It is a fraud/illegal matter being done by bharat matrimony. The refund amount has not yet reached to my bank account. Will bharat matrimony pay me the cost of compensation for the undue mental harassment caused to me & also the interest on the amount in question for the period for which the payment is not refunded to my bank account??

                            We would like to inform that while making the payment by selecting the credit card option the auto-renewal option will be enabled by default and the profile will be renewed with the same package and amount. Also we provide an option where you can check the same while making the payment.

                            Also, we had also provided an option as membership Details in the my Home page to switch OFF the Auto renewal facility. Since this facility was not switched off, it has been renewed automatically.

                            Further, we do send mail alerts 3 times (before - 1 month, 7 days, 24 hours) before the renewal of the profile to turn off the auto renewal.

                            Further more, we have mentioned this information in our Terms and conditions, which you have agreed to accept while registering the profile.

                            I always prefer making any payment using my online netbanking services. On that day when I was trying to make payment through online netbanking mode, I was never allowed to make the payment using the netbanking services although I had attempted to make the payment through net banking mode at lease for 3 times.Unfortunately all my attempts for making the payment through netbanking mode were failed, and now I understand why all my attempts for netbanking payment were failed ... it was a very common practice adopted by your staff to not to allow me to make online netban king payment. However, since my 3 attempts to make payment through online netbanking mode were failed, I decided to make the payment using my Debit Card which ultimately made you & your staff to successfully tarp me. Anyway, please try to ensure that the refund payment of Rs.6700/- reaches to me at the earliest.

                              My id no is : h7380662. My name is priyanka sippy and i applied for the classic advantage premium pack on their site. When i applied for this pack that is for 6 months and the time of payment it changes for 3 months.. But now, the pack is not working at all on my profile it less than one month. My amount has been deducted already. I have already asked the customer support for the refund but they are giving me some very stupid policy's which are not even mentioned on their website. Some conditions which aren't there on their faq page. Please, i want my refund back or else i'll be taking legal actions against these people...

                                My brother became a paid member of BM on 1st January 2019. We hardly came across suitable alliances based on 'partner preferences'. Their solution was to broaden partner preferences. I hope they understand that people don't choose partners based on third-party preferences. Since we were dissatisfied with their service, we sought a refund (I specifically asked them to deduct the amount till Jan. 31st and refund the remaining amount).

                                I spoke to more than 5 customer service executives, including a senior executive. They accept that there is nothing they can do about it, yet they are not ready to refund our money citing 'membership payment is non-refundable as per our terms and conditions'. In the current scenario, one can claim and get a refund for a product/service if one is dissatisfied with the same from prominent sites like Amazon, Flipkart, Bluestones, etc. How is it that it is not applicable to a service that has to do with seeking a life partner?

                                Please note that I received a no. of calls from the BM team asking me (my brother) to become a paid member. Once the paid membership was taken and we genuinely needed their assistance, they became indifferent and offered nil help. Though they claim to be a trusted brand, their actions speak otherwise.

                                If you still adhere to ethical business practices, kindly refund the amount at the earliest.

                                Finally, they [7092385376] called me up and said that they were ready to refund 2500 (of 4500) as we had checked contact details of 4 people. We decided to continue with the paid service as a partial refund was not going to make any difference at all. But I will seriously not recommend BM to anyone. I had to drop several emails, speak to 5 or more customer service executives (an executive by the name of Mr. Anoop was the only one who at least took some effort to listen to our issue and give us a couple of valid suggestions) and finally post a complaint on consumercomplaints.in to get someone from their team to resolve the issue. Thank you!

Calling representatives mr shaon (Bengoli guy) calls me on 30th january in the evening, and he was such loud, rude, rough illiterate and extremely ill-mannered guy and he was pissed of because i did not answered his calls in 2 calls, he was disrespectful with my mother and when im your paid member for last 1 year, u need to take some action otherwise i won’t renew my package and definitely go with other matrimony site...
