I was a bsnl customer for a long time. Recently i had to go out of town for 3 months hence wanted to temporarily disconnect the broadband services for the same period. When i visited the nearby bsnl office for the same purpose which is in karkala taluk udupi district i was very rudely talked to by a bsnl employee named sharada. She spoke to me very rudely as she was doing us a favour also she told to bring an application for the temporary disconnection. So i went there again next time with the application and she said theres no such thing as temporary disconnection! Only permanent disconnection. Then i asked why she didnt tell me the same the first time she was very abusive. Also she told me to bring another application for permanent disconnection with a copy of passbook. So i went there the third time and she kept inspecting my passbook copy for such a long time as if it was fake. Then i asked her whats the procedure if i wanted to reconnect the services in later time she very rudely replied that i wont be getting any bsnl connections in future. This very much surprised me and i questioned her how so? She said there are no underground cables to give me bsnl connection! Really? I was done dealing with that # named sharada and decided never to get bsnl services ever again. With such rude and egomaniac govt employees in bsnl no wonder its closing down at a rapid rate.
