I am a student, who registered for Bharatiar university distance BCA last year exam. The university scheduled BCA Last year exam from 28 May 2016 to 31 May 2016. But till today() i haven't received any study materials. I was registered through SIMS manjeri. Please take any action against SIMS/ Bharatiar distance university.

My self bisty johnson from Kerala completed my pg course under bharathiyar university.i completed my bca at Christ college under bharathiyar university.i received the ug consolidated and provisional but not original yet.1 year over.but i didn't get my original certificate.i have to submit the original in my college where i am completed my pg.then only i can apply my pg certificate.i tried many times to contact the university and college.but they behave like strangers.

I have applied for my degree certificate on 17-Nov-2014 but still haven't received the same. I called up many times at the university, they replied that they will send the degree certificate by January end. From then, I have been calling up continuously (At least 40-50 times) to get various assurances of getting a call back, which never happens. Also, I do not understand how is it that the executives reply saying "No English"? Only Tamil. How does one expect a student to learn the language just to inquire for the degree certificate? Every person that I have talked to does not disclose their name quoting management rules to NOT disclose the name. Never heard of such rules! I rather think this is to avoid taking the responsibility of getting the work done. I need my degree certificate on urgent basis as I have to submit my degree certificate in my office and is also needed for my passport application and further visa processing. Hence, the urgency! This is my final attempt to consolidate all the information and send it across with the hope of some positive response, or else I would be left with no option but to pursue to legal action. The least that you can do is to at least let me know by when should I expect my degree? Not to state that there has been no confirmation from your part regarding the receipt of the application and the money (Demand Draft)! Hence I have attached all proofs myself. Name:K.JeyaLakshmi Studied in Hindhusthan college of art and science, coimbatore Register No:0922K3294 Course:Bsc(c.s) Year passed:2012 Mail id:shining.[protected]@gmail.com COMPLAINT:I am from Madurai; March month 26th day i am came to bharathiar university(coimbatore) and ask My Provisional Certificate; but he told after 1-Month, we courier my provisional certificate, convocation should be process late provisional certificate process 1-Month and received all my mark sheet, t.c, current address also; After call back to university in 27th April no any clear responses, after 1week call back to university, she told sir in exam correction work, so call back next week, after 1week call back to university, she told after 15 days call back, sir in exam correction work, university not responses my phone calls, if visit university means, he told why u come, just contact in phone, but not responses phone calls; I pass out in 2012 Still i have not received Convocation & Provisional certificates.

I Joined Bharathiar University distant education program course and I highly regret for the decision. I had to change my subject and sent a DD on their explanation. Later whenever I call the university, The staff behave rude with very bad response. I was highly upset and disappointed with their mannerism. Least proffessionalism in working with wrong attitude. I sent my money and they seem to be no responsible for the DD. I wish I can go legally against the university. Since I stay in Kerala I noe find the universities in my region are the best.

Bharathiar university it is fraud university don't take admission for any course because waste of money waste of time those people work hard they will be failed when they applied revaluation result will no change when student have confident they applied & one important Rs.2000/- will be charge for each subject if student even not written single word

Sir, I was a BCA student (SDE [Kerala]). I believe Bharathiyar University SDE(School of Distant education) is not valuating the answer sheets properly. The students who wrote correct answers get very less marks. It will be clear by looking at the number of revaluation applications received. Revaluating the paper is of no use. students have to pay 325 rupees(excluding bank charges & postal charges) for revaluating single paper. There...

Hi every one "consumercomplaints.in" somebody post positive post.But may be they are a lucky student, but School of Computer Science and Engineering faculty's are "ARROGANT" activities (doctoral committee) eg:I registered Ph.D in School of Computer Science and Engineering at 2007 all publications(including IEEE Journal) and my research work is 100% new trend. but my thesis was not accepted from 2011 to till date. So many time i contact all administration (DC members,research director,registrar and COE (only good reply)and post a letter also. But still nobody reply and correct answer for the reason of why delay?..So i have a lot of mental depression. nowadays i apply to RTI and waiting for reply.If not satisfactory! Subject: Complaint against Bharathiar University, Coimbatore.

This is to bring to your kind notice the irregularities of Bharathiar University, Coimbatore which has been re-accredited "A" grade by NAAC.
We have been students of MBA Batch[protected] under CPOP mode of Bharathiar University. Having completed all our examinations in June 2010, paid our tuition fees on time, our results were declared on time. However, inspite of having passed in all the semesters, please note that the University has till date not issued us the Marksheet of 2nd semester, the consolidated Marksheet and Provisional Degree of our entire batch.

It has been two years since we have completed the course. After completing our second semester, we are requesting the university officials for our Marksheets, butnobosy is responding properly. We have spent huge amount of money on visiting the University to meet the officials, but disappointingly, The Registrar, Vice- Chancellor or any other Senior Official have never met us ever. Our college officials have taken all the efforts for corresponding for the required marksheets, but the University officials are not responding to any efforts either.

We have complained on-
1) The redressal email id- [protected]@yahoo.co.in (as mentioned on Bharathiar University website- www.b-u.ac.in), but to our disappointment, this email has bounced back as it does not exist.
2) All the court notices sent by us to the University Heads-like Registrar, Vice- Chancellor also seems waste.

Since two years, most of our batchmates are losing many national and international opportunities due to unavailability of the mandatory marksheets and degrees.

Somebody please help. Its so unfortunate that such a reputed University is behaving in such a manner and not resolving the students issues since last two years.

I am Raja suthan.T, From Kanyakumari. I want SLET 2012 Application Form so I aske to my nearest Bharathiyar university study center but they told me these application available only for university website. So I visit your university website. But I am unable to download application form because when I click download the page not open. The following error report showing “the page can not displayed”
So I call to your university general phone numbers but some people attend the phone call but no one give response for my phone call. So I request to rectify the website error and to take action to the concern department people because I try last five days . I want to attend SLET EXAM 2012. Please provide me notification for SLET 2012, application form and admission card and all any other details need for SLET exam

I requested you to NOT TO JOIN MCA COURSE in BHARATHIAR UNIVERSTIY COIMBATORE. If you want to spoil your life means you can go n join. No one can save you. I've lost my life only because of did my MCA at BHARATHIAR UNIVERSITY. In their prospectus they are providing fake details about placement. They have stated that so many companies are coming for placement every year. But the fact is NO SUCH COMPANY...

I have called to Bharathiar University grievance cell contact numbers[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected] on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 11:30AM to mentioned in their website and explained it in detail. Also they adviced to send an email to take necessary action. But nothing had happened till date (20-Oct-2010) and we were scared to continue our studies in this university as well as Study Center.

We were having the receipts for the amount paid to the Study center which is excess of the amount mentioned in university. Could you please advice us to get back our excess paid amount from Study Center/University?

1. In M.M. Evening Commerce College, they collected the course fees of Rs.11,000 (without concession) and Rs.9000 (BU students) instead the fees mentioned in Bharathiar University website (http://www.buc.edu.in/sde/default.asp or attachment)

2. In M.M. Evening Commerce College, Examination fees collected Rs.3300 instead of Rs.2825 (7 Papers x 350 = 2450 + Statement of marks = 50 + Cost of application = 25 + Outside Tamilnadu students = 300) for 1st year MBA regular students. But they were given the receipt for Rs.2525/- only.

We understood that we were shafted and knowingly paid this excess amount to the Staff Mr.Murali &
Mr.Mohammed on Sunday, October 10, 2010 which will help us to appear in the examination. In meantime, Please help us to getback the excess paid amount from them or advice us to proceed further.

In the above all, I am sure this sort of study centers activitieswill spoil the brand name and dignity of the

Bharathiar University and lead to studentdiscontinues too.

I have completed my PGDCE in bharathiar university coimbatore in 2009.
in apr 2009 i wrote my exams, and i didn get my certificates for long time...
so went in person and after long struggle got my consolidated marksheet..
but till now i didn get my provisional,degree certificate.....

i have called the university members and asked about this lot of times they asked to pay extra dd if i need it soon... i don know how to get my certificate.... pls help me

pls take necessary steps...

'Right to Education' is considered a fundamental right in the Indian constitution. But, in practical terms good Education is available only to those who have Money.

Bharathiar University is a state university recognised by the UGC under sec 2f. Though based in Coimbatore, TN; the university is operating all across India through its study centres offering various courses.

These study centres of the university are charging exhorbitant fee for various courses especially Management and Fashion courses.

When confronted, the institutions cite agreement signed with the university wherein they are LEGALLY authorised by the university to charge substantially higher fee under its CPOP scheme.

When enquired the same from the university officials, they confirmed to the CPOP model.

What is most disturbing is the fact that despite bodies like UGC and Distance Education Council (DEC) nobody is bothered to look into the matter.

HRD Ministry is making tall claims but under its very nose the universities like Bharathiar are flouting the rules.

DOUBTS WILL ALWAYS REMAIN IN THE MINDS OF THE ORDINARY CITIZEN AS LONG AS SUCH ARRANGEMENT ARE IN PLACE.

I have sent a registered letter ( No. 5044 ) to "The controller of Examinations", Bharathiar University, Coimbatore - 641 046 from H.No. 5 - 64/7, Behind Suguna Sree Hospital, Suraram 'X' Road, Hyderabad. dated on 04.08.2009. Till now ( 12.08.' 09 ), it is not reached there. That letter should be reached on or before 14.08.2009. What I do?. Kindly do favour for me.
