I ordered a packed food item (Sweet Tamarind Box 225 gm) from Blinkit on 5-Feb-2025, which was fulfilled by TAMS GLOBAL PRIVATE LIMITED (a Blinkit dark store vendor). The product appeared fine at first, but after consuming a few pieces, I realized it was rotten and inedible.
My pregnant wife and I unknowingly ate it, and I fell sick, requiring medication. Since she cannot take medication due to pregnancy, we had to take preventive health lab tests to rule out any health risks, causing unnecessary stress.
This is a serious food safety violation, raising concerns about storage and handling of perishable food at Blinkit’s fulfillment centers, especially those operated by TAMS GLOBAL PRIVATE LIMITED.
Despite multiple escalations, Blinkit refused to take accountability. They ignored the food safety hazard, closing the issue with canned responses and a refund I never requested, instead of ensuring proper corrective action.
