[Resolved]  Bmtc — 221 F - Unauthorized stop of 15 minutes for break midway transit while passengers on board

Wrote to BMTC 3 days back. However, i did not get any update on the action taken. Docket Number BMTCC10117800. Sharing the same here for public awareness. 29th May 2015 Morning 4.35 AM Bus Departs from Majestic with Passengers to its Destination. However, around 5.10 AM - few stops before Destination - Crew stops the bus in front of tea shop for 15 mins(mid transit to destination). When Questioned, if BMTC Policy permits allow coffee breaks inbetween transit, Crew's tone changes to offensive. to the extent i understand BMTC buses can't stop for break inbetween just for the distance of 20 kms or so. I have attached the photo (Not so clear picture as it still dark early morning). I also wrote to BMTC on the same day. However, looks like BMTC has trashed my email as still i did not receive any response on the action taken on the crew staff. BMTC need to take sufficient steps to provide sufficient training to crew members with regard to how to behave with passengers. Bus Number: 221 F Bus Route : Majestic to Hunasemarada palya (Approx distance 20 kms) My destination : Majestic to Club Bus stop (2 to 3 stops prior to last destination) Unauthorized stoppage : Conductor and driver does an unauthorized stop near Kengeri Satellite town for 15-20 minutes Crew staff throughout maintained that they are not violating any policies and they are least bothered about passenger's inconvenience.
