Team,
Today 01 June, 2015, I boarded the bus K1 (KA-57-F-0302) at 7.50 PM from EGL bus stop. My destination was at Sony Signal.
When the conductor asked me for the money for the ticket, I handed him Rs.20. The ticket price to Sony signal from EGL is Rs.12. The conductor asked me if I had Rs.2 change. I checked and said ‘No’.
When I said I don’t have the change, the conductor asked me to get down in the middle. The bug had moved lot of distance from EGL bus stop. I told I can’t get down in the middle like this since it is unsafe and I can get down only at Ejipura signal. And told I am giving you Rs.20 instead since I don’t have change.
Then the conductor started blasted me in some local language for another 10 min. I didn’t understand what he was speaking and asked the co-passenger why a big issue on Rs.2 change. My co-passenger told he was using filthy and obscene language and translated he was telling about my "private and sensitive body parts" and how he wants to cut them off.
I was really surprised and shocked hearing this is what he was yelling at the top of his voice in a public transport. I felt really unsafe. I also tried the toll free number [protected] but the number wasn't working. I want to take strict action against this incident.
