Boduppal Municipality — Road No.5 RTC Colony Drain & Rain Water Logged in Houses

(1) I am resident of H.No.4-102 Road No.5 (Left) RTC Colony, Chengicherla. Drainage system has been provided on this Road No.5 long back since 10 years. As per the requirement at that time, only small size pipeline has been provided. It can be seen from the manholes on Road No.5 that zigzag shaped and not in line to flow water with force.
(2) Recently for 2 months time, drainage system has completely stalled due to heavy accumulation inside. No rectification was done properly, though many complaints were lodged by the inmates of road No.5, RTC Colony.
(3) On 12th October 2020 due to heavy down pour rain, in almost all the ground floor houses were flooded with rain water inside the houses upto 3 to 4 feet height.
(4) All the belongings and electronic appliances inside the houses, beds and clothes etc., were washed away with rain water on 12th October, 2020 night.
(5) Again on 17th October, rain started but within hours, water again logged inside the houses completely on Road No.5 and it has hampered the Road No.4 residents also in their houses and water logged in their houses.
(6) Recently increased colonies upside the RTC Colony ie nearly 4 or 5colonies with 50+ houses each, their houses drainage system is coming on to the RTC Colony and it is affecting the flow of drain water outside the colony lanes and even road side water is obstructing the water to flow from our lanes.
(7) It is an online request of all the residents of RTC Colony, Chengicherla specifically 5th Lane residents to kindly take immediate steps to rework the drainage system so that this will not happen again due to rains.
(8) Residents of RTC Colony is facing another dangerous situation that due to the "Cheruvu" on the CNGCL Depot Road, which was flown inside the colony on to the Road No.1 and 2 of RTC Colony on 12th October 2020 and thereby the rain water from colony could not flow and entered into the houses of all ground floor.
(9) Construction of "kalavas" exclusively for rain water flow purpose besides the concrete roads on all the colony roads will some how gives way to flow rain water outside the colony.
