Billing & discharge delay & harashment to patient

Address: KAMA , 69, WALKESHWAR ROAD, MUMBAI 400006.

Mrs Sarita Mantri ( IP No.2010587) was to be discharged at 9 am on 12.12.20 who was admitted in RR 21 . In spite of repeated follow up & Dr Meghna /Dr Amita Nene confirmation of discharge, the bill number CORT 690 was send till 3.40 pm to Marketing Department, WHICH CLOSES AT 6 PM . This resulted in forcing me to pay cash to take discharge in spite of Marketing approval at 7 pm .
A very horrible system of billing which takes 10 hours...

I referred from kokilaben hospital to kasturba hospital for the test as i was claimed as a suspect.in kasturba the emergency doctor just asked me to open my mouth gave me few tablets asked my travel history and said "you have nothing, go"
Today my health has gotten worse and when i asked the doctor about my visit he said come again, i can't travel again and again 30kms keeping my health in mind and when i asked the doctors name he spoke rudely and disconnected without sharing his name. Now he is not taking my call. If something happens to me who to blame? This hospital is taking suspected patients for granted. There were many patients for the same test. His reply was same to everyone. Please look after it before it gets worse, its serious

This complaint is for Bombay Hospital Indore. The very first thing lacks here is hygiene. The hospitality staff work is very poor. They don't even aware of hygine. No time management when to clean floor and how to clean floor. And if we ask for cleaning they shouts and give excuses as lack of staff and this is not my job.
Second major problem is again lack of staff for taking the patient to other checkups like x-ray, sonography, Endoscopy etc. and taking back to room. Patient waits more that 40mins outside the room for nurse to come to take them to their room.
This is a big shame for such a renowned hospital that I am writing such a compalint for this kind of poor management and service.
My room no. Is 1062 - Bombay hospital Indore. You can come and check the room.

            Dear bombay hospital,
I called to book an appointment to dr ravi rathi today at 17:30 for tomorrow morning but the telephonic staff talk me rudely, she was just anger to reply me.
We are from bhopal and come to there for a better treatment. We believe the good behavior of medical staff is a 'sanjivani' for patient.

My mother was admitted at the bombay hospital for a brain surgery and the prices quoted were an estimate of 4, 10, 000 inr for 10 days.
She recovered in 6 days and yet the hospital wants to charge us the same amount and claim its a package and there are overhead charges.
We do not have a medical insurance and all charges are bring paid by our hard earned money.
We seek justice against this loot!!

                  Dear bombay hospital,

                  Ip no : 1910422
Name of patient : mascarenhas maria thomas

                  Date of admission : 27/06/2019
                  Date of discharge : 01/07/2019

Its been 3 week since my mother has been discharged from the hospital. Every attempt to ask for a refund of my excess money has been answered with polite words like amount will be credited in 3 - 4 days. The communications with the account department is just pathetic or deliberate.

I would suggest, like you do with every patient with signing of all the important document before admission, a document for refund of excess money form should also be signed.
Here a patient can give his bank details or whatever is required and once a patient is discharged his excess can be immediately refunded.

No matter how big or small the refund is, refund is a refund.
If a 20% surcharge is what a hospital levies on every bill a similar structure of 20% late charges fees should be made applicable on the hospital if a there is delay in the refund procedure right from the date of discharge.

A hospital ensures all its due are paid before a patient is discharged, then why is an excess money with held and we have to beg for our own money.

A patient as well the persons attending them are in trauma and then to collect the re - fund for the hospital looks like a herculean task.

I demand my refund to be done immediately and a letter of apology should be drafted for the trouble that i had, for asking the money.

                  Regards,

                  Dear Bombay Hospital,

By Transferring to extra Money in My account doesn't solve my plight of delayed payment.

My Complaint and Suggestion still lies unresolved.

As per the cashless approval, self was treated in Bombay Hospital for 3 days. CLAIM NO CN2576233

During the discharge, hospital has claimed 20% surcharge on services which is deducted by PHS.

Such high charges were levied in network hospital is not acceptable.
Also it was not informed during admissions.
The services are given by hospitals should include in room rent so that we can take the services as per our limits or insured amount.

Charging such high amount on the name of Surcharge is showing the wrong interest of Hospital and Insurance company to cheat the customer.
It will not solve the purpose of taking insurance cover and cashless services.

Please look in to it and do the needful..

My wife underwent laparoscopy surgery here.
As soon as she came out of ot ward boy, nurse was asking for tips. I observed this for patients as well while I was waiting in OT waiting room. They don't even care whether the operation is successful or not. All they need from you is money.

This is to inform you that i have done preventive health check up since last two years, and i have very bad experience regarding stress test. When last year i have done check up on 26.05.2019 i have been told that stress test is not possible as machine is out of order since last 3 days and insist 2decho. Today also i have been told that stress test machine is out of order since last 4 days. Such a big hospital and machine is not working since last 4 days???. Every time bombay hospital force to do 2decho instead of stress test. Kindly look into the matter and inform me.

My dad was admitted due to urinal tract infection and paravalvular leak. His haemoglobin was less and therefore we were required to transfuse blood for which the nurse intended two leucocyte blood filters which cost 3400 per unit.. But after purchasing the same it was found dads condition was stable and currently there is no requirement of blood tranfusion. And the purchased leucocyte filter was under their custody. As days passed by, dads haemoglobin level went down and doctor advised for blood transfusion. Soon the nurse contacted me and again asked to purchase the leucocyte filter. Kindly note i had already purchased 2 units of the same and was under the their custody. Now, the nurse is telling me there is no such units available with them.. And the same is not seen anywhere in my dads shelf... I am sure this nurse or the housekeeping staff has taken it or sold it to a consumer... Its a clear case of theft... These nurses are trained to do such stuffs i feel... I have the bill of 22nd april in which i bought 2 leucocyte filters and after that till 30th april 2019 my dad was not given any blood transfusion and it was on 1st may where the icu ward nurse asked me to get the leucocyte filters which means 2 units costing 6800 has been vanished.. But under helpless situation i had buy it again on 1st may 2019 and 2nd may 2019 and i have the bill for same... I thought nurses are godly people with full service oriented mind, unfortunately my dear friends the nurses who treated my dad were not of such nature and were only money oriented... But this is clear case of theft.. Out of sorrow n financial crisis i am reporting this.. Hope someone take this notice and provide me justice!

                            surcharge levied by bombay hospital

                            Address: Mumbai City, Maharashtra

My father was admitted to bombay hospital and to my surprise the hospital has levied a surcharge of rs. 72, 922.

I have disputed this charge with the accounts and the only explanation they gave me was by handing over a certificate which does not mention anything substantial!

Could some please guide me how i can go about complaining this malpractice of the hospital and get my surcharge refunded.

                            Thanks...
