Respected Sir, For last few months our flat No. B 804 in Emgee Greens CHS, Wadala East is kept unoccupied as our tenant has VACATED long back and we have not engaged new tenant. From April 2021 till July 2021 we were getting only minimum charges of Rs.160/- which we have paid up to date. The bill shows that for the period 19.07.21 to 20.08.2021 it has jumped to a huge amount of Rs. 2583.52. When the flat is closed and electricity has not been used for even one unit how suddenly your reading shows from 52639 to 53000. Consumption of 361 unit! It is shocking. We feel that person who has visited the premises has either not seen the reading properly or meter has become defective by non-use. We shall be thankful if you will kindly look into the matter and do needful. In the meantime as per your rules we are paying Rs. 2590.00 as per demand UNDER PROTEST PENDING RESOLUTION OF THIS COMPLAINT. We are sure you will kindly initiate urgent steps and redress our complaint by appropriate action at once.
