I have purchased a flat from Rustomjee-Evershine in Global City Virar
Avenue M. I have been informed by the builder that they have received
occupation certificate from VVCMC but unable to hand over the flat
because elctricity connection has not been provided by MSEDC.
They have only shown me the letter no VVCMC/TP/OC/VP 0453/143/2012 -13
dated 29/06/2012 on the subject of Granr of OC for Residential Buiding
Type X1-1,X1-2 in Avenue M of land bearing under New Survey no.
5,5B,5D,5G of village -Dongre,Taluka Vasai, District Thane which
states under clause no 1 on page 2 that "No physical possession shall
be given unless Power Supply & Potable water is made available in the
flat and ....."
I am helpless as even after 5 months of this letter ,builder is non
commitant on the possession of the flat since no electricity
connection is provided by MSEDEC .
Please help.

Secondly, it is really strange that demand letter for the highest floor in the blg has come, and in our agreement (in the registration process), the possession date is Dec 2015...
why possession should take so long?
I read the agreement and at the end, it was given that there are provisions for arbitration or grievance redressal...
Why not you guys, facing possession delays, make a concerted effort to approach the builder and if needed, the concerned redressal body...I am of the strong opinion, that you all should, alone or better together...
