[Resolved]  Veena Velocity, Veena Developers / Nikunj Developers — Delay in Possession of Flat

Respected Sir/Madam,

This is with regards to the trauma that is being caused to me and owners of flats at Veena Velocity in sun city at vasai. The construction work has been stopped since Oct 2011. Initially the shortage in supply of sand was stated but later it was revealed that there is a stay on the Phase 2 of veena velocity. Phase 1 is complete and has got OC but Phase 2 has been stuck for a long time. I booked the flat in May 2010 in phase 2 and was promised possession by Dec 2011 but it is now Oct 2012 and no signs of completion. The payments were all white and my loan was approved by Axis bank, there have been loans form HDFC and Statebank also which have been approved for the different owners in the building. The builder has been talking about some case and difficulties created by VVMC. He has been giving dates after dates to the clients for the last 8 months and spoke about out of court settlement. Nothing is clear what is the issue. They keep saying that some piece of land is stuck in controversy. I have shelled out my hard earned money on the place and am depressed with this outcome. I trusted the name of Veena Developers/Nikunj developers as they come across as very genuine builders.

Requesting advice what are the people like me who are struggling supposed to do now?
