Our charitable foundation ordered and paid fully in advance Rs. 8 lakhs toward 125 solar panels to be used for our social projects. EMMVEE supplied 100 panels and promised the balance to be delivered "soon." When the balance of panels didn't arrive even after 6 weeks, we enquired. The reply was "The price of panels have gone up. You have to pay another Rs. 10, 000 if you want the balance of panels.
We now understand that EMMVEE is routinely engaged in this unethical and fraudulent business practice as a deliberate way to make more money on sales -- supply partial and then ask for more money. Not having delivered the balance of panels, our installers and electricians are stuck, unable to complete the cost. Our cost as a result of the delay is several times more than the money EMMVEE is now demanding, but as a principle, we do not plan to give to this kind o[censored]nethical and illegal business practice.
We know that the cost of litigation is much more than the money EMMVEE is demanding, but we cannot allow a company that claims to be an international player (BOSCHE is the supplier of panels to EMMVEE) to get awy with this. This post is to caution consumers before dealing with EMMVEE. Was this information helpful? |
