Harrowing experience for a Super-senior citizen having trusted brand Akai India:
Service team head Mr Rahul Mehta 's entire team has not only FAILED over days to register a service complaint (since 3 days and counting) but he is also MISSING IN ACTION despite reminders and mails sent to him.
Worse, BOTH, Ms Aditi Rana and Mr Anil Kumar under Mr Rahul Mehta claimed that he has to give his "permission" for his team to share his official contact details.
(Details, chronology etc AVAILABLE on request)

If this is how Akai India traps customers and then takes them for granted, do not buy from Akai India ever.
A 91 YR OLD IS FEELING CHEATED thanks to Akai India.

Chronology so far:

Emailed to Akai service the following:

1 Screenshot of WA exchanged with Akai service number +[protected], which proves beyond doubt how Akai India team does not bother to reply with even a basic courtesy response, EVEN SEEING our query ( blue ticked) in now, 36 hours and counting

2. Watsapp folder of all WA communication (including point 1 above) so far, with Akai and the hugely delayed, uninterested responses

3 Call record with Akai dated yesterday where the agent who took the call was not only challenging to understand but worse, cited an excuse of Akai server not working to justify not beng able to register a complaint.
He had last committed a registration latest by EOD yesterday but NO registration number has been received in 24 hours

UPDATE :

Mr ANIL KUMAR, who called us after our email, passed the buck onto Ms ADITI RANA, who further passed the buck onto her senior Mr RAHUL SHARMA but REFUSED TO SHARE HIS CONTACT for the reason that she "needed his permssion"

It is more than clear that this TAKING CUSTOMERS FOR GRANTED is a work culture flowing from the top

    Bought this on 1 Sep 2021. It stopped working on 28 Jul 2022, well within warranty period. Complained to Customer Care. On 1 Aug, a technician checked the TV and found the panel has gone bad. He said he will report the issue and get a replacement in two weeks' time. After two weeks, I emailed Customer Care, which just forwarded my mail to a company official. Today is 13 Oct, and my complaint has not been resolved. I have sent several emails and even talked to one official from Akai and another from the repair service provider. No use. The matter is still not resolved.
