We had ordered a catering service for providing food, they ended up giving stale or spoiled food due to which atleast 10-15 people got food poisoning and out of which two people are critically serious and under medical observation since last 3 days in the hospital.
The money was taken that day itself and now there’s no response even when we try reaching out.
We trust these people when we ask them to cater us, food poisoning is such a huge issue and this type of services are not expected

    I was admitted in hospital on19/03/2021 as I met with an accident on road.. on very first day in evening I asked for food to the caterer as he gave to all except me.. he said he will bring in some time and he never returned so I called my friend as I am bachelor here.. from next day my coworker started bringing food for me.. but on 22 March. It was silvassa bandh.. and no body was gonna come with food, I requested caterer to please provide food for that day his reply was "Kal noodles kha rahe the na Kya hua ??" After hearing such reply what a person should think?

      Dear Sir,

      I (T.Krishnakumar) traveled in train no:12967 (chennai jaipur express) on 10th June-2014 and my PNR no:[protected]Second A/C) Birth No:3
      The catering contractor refused to give standards veg meals for Rs.50/- But he served meals for Rs.102/- and he has not given any receipt.
      The meals served for very bad and the chappati's were very hard and black.
      We refused bring the complaints even after insisted book for my remark.
      Water was not served along with meals.
      Please take necessary action and give me a feedback.

        I had spoken to Mr. Honey from Accenture in regards to our catering services. My operations Manager met him (made us wait for over an hour) and finally with great disinterest took a look at our company profile and told he will get back to us. After a week or two our Operations Manager started following up with him, he would either not take our calls or would rudely tell us that he is busy give a call later. Finally when we tried calling him today he states that he is commited to other projects and did not have the time to take a look at our profile.

        What do these Admins think caterers are? .... some piece of , sorry for the language used here. We do not spit and serve food for companies, we may not be huge but we do our work so honestly and with so much of care. Why can;t he just tell that I am sorry we do not require your services now when we require we will get back to you. After almost a month of calling and following up today he speaks so rudely to inform us that HE DID NOT HAVE THE TIME TO READ THROUGH THE PROFILE AND CERTAINLY DOESN'T VALUE OTHERS TIME.

        Mr. Honey can come to office whenever he feels like, warm his seat and go off, while other people who run businesses run against time to get their work done.

        Please value people's time and don't be so selfish.

          I had 3 points to discuss for improvement of IR...
          1.In most of the Indian trains we doesn't have waste bins, waste collector for plastic/paper plates, covers,tumblers etc...... during travelling passengers putting outside of the train or even inside makes environment more bad, if you see on sides of the rail tracks you can find lot of waste plastic/paper plates,tumblers etc.......To avoid this does Indian railway take any action? or people do some remedies?.. Just a simple idea, if we provide more dustbins or waste collectors in each coach and make advertisement and even we can handover to catering every 2 hours (cetain time)they go around each coach during Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner time to collect waste,this avoid some wastes around our environment.
          2.To avoid without ticket passengers, we need a security machine which punches the ticket to enter the railway platform permises.It is quite expensive but this avoid more troubles to IR.
          3.Most important is toilet waste from train,which disposed through railway tracks, if government takes steps to collect in seperate tank by each coach and dispose in some where it makes human life better also railway track maintenence employee also ...

          I hope Indian Railway think about this and has some steps in future to make more passengers to travel by IR, exspecially Foreigners... to make more profit....Needs Indian railway more standard...

            respected sir we have given a work for the marrige (23rd nov 2009) to a cterer for 85000 but when the date of the marrige come closer he says he will charged 185000 for the same work we have paid 10000 (advance to that caterer ) we cant abble to affrord that amount so we say to him that kindly refund our 10000 rupee but he say no i cant give you the rs
            so i am felling very help less please give me the suggestion what i do

            Place another order via a friend .. pay advance of 5000 for a order of 50 to 60 k .. then diappear .. let his goods rot ..

            simpler way .. go to police.

              the complaint is caterer is not charging service tax. If the caterer is not charging service tax it is upto juridiction of Central Excise Department. The levy of tax will be imposed on the assessable ground. They will vary from each case. The service charge cgharge is only on services and not on value according to present supreme court judgements. By a simple sentence the caterer not charging service tax can not be examined unless all the facts are presented. There is also exemption turnover and also some exemptions are avilable to the caterers when they do with in their premises and out door caterings. So not to panic when some body are not charging it is not avoiding tax may that individual with in the exemption limits

                Director of Railway Catering Service and
                Honourable Rail Minister of India LALU PRASAD JI

                I would like to give an information and want to bring your knowledge because now a days Indian Railway belongs such a everest height which was not before.

                I travelled 30 th Apr from Mumbai to Agra cant. by Punjab mail S7 seat number 33, 36, 35, 37. Fooding arrangement of catering are so poor quantity and quality and not giving drinking water also. They are not maintaining quantity parmeter which is published by railway authority. And they are charging Veg Food charge Rs 50 per for one.

                People are in India is earning with lot of struggle please improve your catering system or kick out cotractor.
