I booked a service to transfer my household items from New Delhi to Prayagraj through Mahindra Packers Movers on 14 November 2022. They collected my items on the same day and I paid 16000 rupees as agreed and I was supposed to get the shipment on 15 November 2022. But they asked me pay 12178 rupees more in the name of taxes. Before booking the service they confirmed with me that 16000 rupees is the final amount and their will be no extra or hidden charges. I have the screenshot for that same as well. It's been more than a month now and they have still not delivered my items yet. I want to take a legal action against them and file for damage and harrasment. Kindly help me.

On 17 july 2022 i called Mahindra Packers Movers holding GST Regn No 07ITGPS6809J1ZY and asked for enquiry of sending my car and household items from Noida, UP to Kolkata, WB. They sent me initially a quotation of 43000 and on telephone they decreased to 41000 and said that will be the final price including everything. And also had to pay 1000 for booking which I paid on 20 July. The pick up date was 30 July and should be delivered within 10 Aug as per their commitment. After loading car and all items, they were continuously asking for payment and in Whatsapp they wrote to 'clear payment'. After paying balance 40000, I continuously asked for payment receipt but they did not send any. Later they sent me another bill which mentioned gst, insurance and other charges and was asking for more 54620 and made the bill from 41000 to 94620. From loading day I kept asking for tracking link of my car and items but they were just delaying and said they will send after clearing 40000 but they did not and today is 9 Aug still they did not share any tracking link. They also told me they would share video of my car being loaded in container truck but never shared anything. The person Mr Dheeraj Sharma who gave me the quotation (assuming the owner) do not pick up calls and only staff named Naveen talks to me. I asked the staff to provide Mrs Diksha Sharma (assuming another owner) ph number but he said he won't give. They are threatening me that my car and items will get stuck in Allahabad unless I give 54620. They won't transport anything. Please not they did not send me any proper bill, nor GST receipt or insurance receipt. They gave me two hand written documents. Mr Dheeraj Sharma ph no is [protected].
I request for my items and car to be transported soon and not ask for any more illegal money. Or send everything back to Noida and refund 41000.
