I've been through cancellation of property because the Builder failed to add 3 clausess in the agreement paper.which are which was very important part to buy any property. As a customer, i felt there was a risk in buying his property. So I canceled the further process of taking the property and demanded the developer to refund the booking money.

The amount already paid to the builder/ developer was (5, 000) out of that, builder and his agent says that they will deduct my 1000 rupees as lawyer's fee for making agreement paper. Whereas we weren't told about it at the time of purchase nor was it mentioned in any of their papers .

If it comes to deducting money, then i will also charge the fees of my own lawyer as well because i have also spent money in getting the property papers checked by the lawyer.

I returned the agreement and property papers to them on their given time. But it has been almost 9 days, they did not returning me my booking amount back.

Kindly look into this matter ASAP.

Recently we decided to buy a property. So we went to a property selling group whose name was poddar group. So i booked a 2bhk flat in 28 nov 2021 and paid rs 5000 in cash to builder as booking amount. And on the same day i asked for the property papers from the promoter/vendor to get it checked by our own lawyer. After getting the paper checked, we proceeded to the second step, that was the agreement. Before signing the agreement papers, we asked the dealer to get the agreement papers checked again by our lawyer.

The dealer gave us the paper and said that if any mistake or error is found in the paper by your lawyer or if any line is missed from our side in mentioning the papers then, tell us we will rectify it. after getting the paper checked, we found that the builder does not want to take any guarantee of the building after selling the flat to us. apart from this, there is some important point missing which is not at all in favor of the customer. seeing all this, As a customer, I felt there was a risk in buying this property. so we canceled the further process of taking the property and demanded the developer to refund the booking money.
We spoke to the developer on phone (2.01.2022) . The developer told us that you please return the agreement paper back and take the money in return.

On(3.01.2022), when we asked for our booking amount in lieu of returning the agreement papers, he talked rudely with us and quarelled a lot . he also refused to return the booking money and started making many excuses. We told him to return the money even on online mode, in return, He told us that I will deduct 1000 rs from your booking amount of Rs 5000.

But i have not signed any paper which mentioned this cancellation policy. Nor i was told about it . Even nor it was written in any of his papers.When I told him that I will complain this whole matter in consumer complaint, he said where you have to complain, do it, I don't care .

I want my booking amount back in my bank account as I returned them their agreement papers and property papers.
so, i would like to have this problem fixed quickly please. If i do not hear from them within 10 days, i will lodge a formal complaint with consumer affairs in my state.
