I would like to share my most unpleasant experiences with roopa agarwal, the lucknow-based lawyer. I met this # of a lawyer at her office at b105, diwani nyayalya, lucknow, on 27th may 2017. After taking rs 25, 000 from me as the first installment in a case she filed on my behalf, she suddenly raised the total charges for the case from rs 60, 000 agreed upon before i paid her rs 25, 000 to rs 100, 000. She linked the increase to "inflation" and increased court charges. After arguing with her, i told her that i was unable to shell out the increased charges. I have read in various postings that in such cases she has been asking for sexual favors from young clients. Thankfully, i am old and she did not ask for any sexual favor. But she stopped attending the hearings of my cases. She just attended the first hearing.
