Rude and uncivilised behaviour by cashier to a polite query

The bakery is excellent, so is the selection of goods in the store, though the boorish, bespectacled cashier is a clear dampener for the place. The cashier is rude and indifferent to customer queries. He has a serious issue with his temper and is highly irritable which needs to be addressed by the management, as otherwise, regular customers (since 1999) like me will abandon their shopping plans -- as I did today -- Friday, January 9, 2015...
