Cabbazaar — Denied refund for cancelling defective car

Booking ID - 573560 - Need refund of our advance payment of 3 k for cancelling defective or unsafe car.

We had booked a 6 seater SUV one day before the journey from Bangalore - Kukke - Bangalore for 3 days. Paid Rs. 3, 000/- in advance.

We boarded excited to start the trip went just 2-3 km and had to rush back home.

Car was in pathetic condition we got to know soon after we boarded.
The front passenger door was not getting closed at all, unless the center locked.
The car started and the driver didn't even realise that the front door was open. It is for the ghat section drive where a senior citizen had sat and he could have fallen or the door would open.
Next there was no meter in the car at all where we could track the kms and driver denied to show the meter.
The most important car had already run for 4, 35000 kms how safe is it? Screen shot attached.
AC was not working in the entire car.

Cabbazaar says says don't go by car go by car divers guarantee. Seriously????

When called customer care they were like send video etc, these we could sit n only see as to how is the condition of the car cannot be inspected in a video. Still we shared but CC team was not in a state to listen to our issue, rather they were taking the side of the driver that everything is fine. If it was fine we were not crazy to cancel or ask for different cab as a replacement. We were ready to postpone our plan for a couple of hours n even wait for the replaced car to come or pay a little extra.

But nothing worked out and finally we had to cancel and last minute had to find another alternative which costed us more.

And seems their standard answer no refund was told which is zero refund of our advance money 3k.
