Capgemini — Re: Complaint about an CG employee

Address:Kolkata, West Bengal

I am Avijit, would like to draw your kind attention regarding my bad experience which I faced rather facing in the last months about the potential job prospect at your organization. It was end of 2013, I was introduced to Mr. Debraj Das, an employee of your organization, by one of my cousins, about the job prospect at Capgemini. Since then till today, he kept on promising about the potential job at CG, many things has happened, but nothing came across fruitful so far! Except, we are bound to paying the interest for the personal loan that was meant as per his demand! It’s not one or two times incidents, n-number of times it happened and I think it will kept on happening in that fashion only. In my life so far, I haven't come across with such a lier and money-minded person like Mr. Debraj Das. In the last year, he first asked for Rs.2, 38, 000 (Two Lakhs Thirty Thousand Rupees) saying this is company rule to pay the money as deposit money for attending a training on SAP or something else and which will be back as soon as the candidate joins. And for that huge amount he gave me just 5-6 days’ time. Within that short time my father somehow managed the money and transferred the money at his personal account as suggested by him. I can show you the bank transaction details as soon as I receive them. Total money gave to him: 109000 (in cheque) +50000 (in cheque) +69000 (in cash) +10000 (in cash) Regarding the payment of 69000 INR, on 11th October around 4.15 PM, I received a phone call from Mr. Bhaskar Mukharjee, HR Dept. who threatened me over phone that I would miss the call as I couldn't manage to deposit the amount. Next day, I had to give the amount in cash through Debraj. But then nothing has happened. Rather whenever I asked him about the status, he kept on saying me that I need to keep more patience, and soon I will receive a call! Since then I although received some calls from CG (by Rishab, Arindam Lahiri, Bhaskar Mukharjee, Himanmish Chakraborty ), but I am really not sure what exactly has happened till date. I must say, he cheated me and my parents knowing the fact they are very simple and wise persons and that way he didn't even think twice to cheat them in such a nasty way. Actually he blackmailed them. Based on his false hope, my mother didn't even think to sell her gold ornaments and then to take a high-rate personal loan. And we are still paying the interest without anything good reason. I fail to understand how come and how dare is he to ask for such a huge amount of money (on behalf of your organization) when there is no official link between him and CG? Till date, CG hasn't accepted me as an employee. Not only the asking money for potential job purpose, he is a kind of person who didn't even feel shame to ask for money even when it was the point (sometime in last august) that I must have a valid passport as company policy. As it was little bit urgent apparently, according to him, so I must apply for a passport through Tatkal service! And for which he asked for 15 thousand rupees to get the passport done! Which includes Tatkal charges (i.e. Rs. 5000 or so) and rest is happen to be the agent charges! I doubt, I must say this was also his share which he couldn't manage to get from me at the end without any extra stipulated charges! Then earlier this year, he introduced me with Mr. Subhankar Banerjee, who is another employee of CG for job prospect. He is another cheater and he didn't even think to ask for money again and when I asked him to return the same he didn't think twice to threaten me over email. Sir, for your reference herewith I am attaching the email communication that I had with them. In the last 2 3 months, when I had a clear idea about that they won’t do anything for me, I insisted them to return the money. Although he managed to return the part of that huge amount but he gave it as part by part instead as a whole! Being a job-seeker, I still don't have the answer how come he is managing to do all this in the namesake of such a renowned company? And unless and until, I know in which project the candidate is going to work, how come he say that I need to submit that huge amount of money for the sake of training? With all this, I would like to draw your attention about this group of fraud people who are happen to the employee of CG, who are making their business in this way. I would look forward for your guidance. Best regards, Avijit Sengupta
