[Resolved]  Sps Hyundai Thiruvallur — Day Robbers, Cheater

I am Kumar from Avadi. I come from a very middle class family and car has been my dream since childhood. Readers should understand what kind of divine sentiments I would have had for my first car. I never had Hyundai's in my list. I had Maruti's since they are genuine.


I was little impressed on EON for its fluidic looks. Test drove, everyone in family liked it. We went to book the car on a mela on 11th March 2013 in a Petrol Bunk in Tirumullaivoil (Near Mangalam Marriage Mandapam).


After test driving EON, my father fell in love on the Santro that was standing by. Murugan, the sales team leader was the dealing responsible person.


When enquired about corporate discount, Murugan said Rs. 3000 for EON and Rs. 5000 for SANTRO and i10. i10 was a big budget and Santro was loved by everyone in my family.


When Murugan said Rs. 5000 corporate discount, my entire family (My wife, who is now carrying my second child, my father who is a retired teacher from Kendriya Vidyalaya) who heard very clearly Murugan committing Rs. 5000 Corp discount for Santro.


We booked the car after the price negotiation. Then started the real face.



1. Murugan assured 6% finance for cars booked on the same day 11th March 2013.

2. I paid Rs. 50,000 beliving Murugan, when only Rs. 20k minumum was required.

3. First I had an idea of paying 1 lac more in a couple of days and remaining 2.7 lacs as finance. The workout was given for 2/3/4 years.

4. I got my TRAPPY gift (which was a useless good for nothing Dairy, hardly 30-50 rs. in a stationary shop, neatly packed in a 2 Rupee paper).

5. Finance person came to collect documents, then I came to know real rate of interest which was 12+% in diminishing and not 6% as assured by Murugan (CHEAT NO. 1)

6. I immediately refused finance and gave ready cash (cheque) on 15th March, same week Friday.

7. Murugan assured me that order will be placed immediately, but nothing was done.

8. Murugan had assured 5 day delivery in case of ready cash, that never happened. I took delivery without registration on 29th March ( pls count how many days) ( CHEAT NO. 2 - No promised delivery TAT followed)

9. Then Murugan started lying stories saying there is no stock, cars not provided by the Sriperambudur plant, which even a kid won't belive. HYUNDAI has no cars. The reason he gave was the silliest. Hyundai should be ashamed to read this. "Hyundai is exporting all cars abroad and there are no cars for India. If so, why the hell Hyundai should collect my money and rotate in its business when there is no car in Sriperambudur plant for an Indian"

10. Murugan had assured me that once the car is billed in the plant, he would get the car to showroom the same day. Car was billed on Tuesday 26th March. But he didn't get the car as committed.

11. He brought the car on Wednesday, 27th March and said he would register on Thursday. On Thursday the smartest chap Mr. Murugan says RTO is on long leave. Will be back on Monday. I was heart broken since I had dreams to take my family in my first car to Tiruttani. He asked me to take delivery on Thursday I didn't, I was heart broken.

12. I went to showroom on Friday, 29th March, took delivery and was shocked to see the Corporate Discount was just Rs. 3000. I argued with Murugan why he committed me Rs. 5000 while booking. Mr. Murugan plainly refused and told a bitter green pale lie. ( CHEA T No. 3).

13. I couldn't argue as I was tired after the night shift from Thursday and I had gone to the showroom straight from my Mount Road office.

14. I came home with a driver, paid him some money even though I drove the car to home. I checked again with my family members if Murugan, on the day of booking had told the corporate discount for Santro as 5000 or 3000. They strongly said 5000, because that was the calculation I had made.

15. My father straight away called Murugan a cheat and scamster and asked me not to fight with him. I got pissed off, I complained to ASM and GM. Nothing happened.



My dear readers,


Santro should be a wonderful car I believe, but never waste your hard earned money and blood shed money with SPS Hyundai. They plainly cheat customers.


S P S HYUNDAI TIRUVALLUR - Mr. Murugan, Sales Team Leader is a talented marketing person, who would speak to you as sweet and his sugar coated words would take you all away. Once you give the money, then SPS shows its real face.


I am totally dissatisfied. Beleive me, my family still doesnt have the feel and happiness of having bought a first new car, but only repent for having chosen an incorrect dealer.


Additionally Mr. Murugan had also promised me additional 5 litres of petrol along with the regular 5 litres, which they gave while customer takes his delivery. But that never happened. Nothing surprising.


I am sure to mail all this to Hyundai India Customer Care and Hyundai Global Customer Care. Hyundai is a good car, but please select genuine dealers who keep your name.


I am still dissatisfied, annoyed and aggrevated because of what SPS has done to me. Murugan showed his real face when I asked him why he misleaded me by sayign 5k. The response he gave was funny"What would I do if you have ur mind somewhere when I explain you things ?)


Can you imagine a sales rep talking to you like this ? What other hell would I be thinking or have in mind while negotiating the price of the car ? Namita's hip size ?


I am really trying to be professional, but my only motive is that please select the best dealer who treats customer like a customer, not like a third rated fool.

I need Hyundai to contact me. I need a compensation for having been cheated Rs. 2000 of my hard earned money by SPS HYUNDAI


If you want to become a fool and to be treated like a fool and not as a customer after having paid all your hard earned money into these hungry wolves' mouth, you are always welcome to choose SPS HYUNDAI


I was taken aback when I saw another bad experience from SPS Hyundai by a couple of more customers in mouthsut.

The worst foolishness in my life, I chose SPS Hyundai as my car provider..
