I purchased gold/diamond ring Triumph Tri-Tone Ring for Rs. 29, 142/- from caratlane. The ring broke down in two pieces while I was wearing it. I complained to caratlane and they asked me to deposit the ring in one of their outlets at delhi and that they would get it repaired. I complained to them that how could a gold piece break down in two pieces after wearing it a few times. They assured that they would look into the matter and get it repaired. I gave the ring at Pacific Mall (in Feb) outlet and they said that they would be sending the ring for repair at Chennai. After a few weeks I started pursuing them for the ring and got the answer that they could not get the ring repaired and nor could they get it replaced as they have discontinued with the product due to complaints. I asked them to refund the amount since they are not able to repair/replace the defective product. They asked me to chose another product ( minus 10% exchange rate ). I told them I do not like anything else and moreover I have lost trust in their brand and want my money back. I have been following up with them but nobody is listening and I am being harassed for no fault of mine. It was a birthday present from my mother, not only the loss is financial but also emotional.
