I am Richa Kumar, an MBA aspirant, who joined Career Launcher, Noida branch on 13th Jan 2022 and my enrolment id is 30471128.
On 30th Dec-21 I booked classroom demo class and paid 10, 000 (1000 cash+9000 online) as an refundable advance via Paytm. After 2-physical demo classes, I decided not to continue physical classroom session. Then after multiple round of discussion with Sector-62 officer Mr. Udit and then I decided to enrol for online classroom session. After few days, Mr. Udit confirmed me that new online batch is going to start from 10th Jan-22 in which I could join after payment of remaining fee i.e. 25, 000. On 11th Jan-22, I paid 100% fee i.e. 35, 000 via Paytm and started taking my online classes.
After few classes only, I started feeling dissatisfied and dejected that I may not be at right coaching centre because the teaching at career launcher would not help me in cracking CAT 2023.
Therefore, I requested for refund of my fees with Mr. Udit (officer at Sector-62 branch) on 23rd Feb-22, telephonically and via WhatsApp. On 23rd Feb itself, Mr. Udit confirmed on WhatsApp that he will revert on this matter tomorrow.
On 24th Feb-22 again I had sent message on WhatsApp "Sir kab tak karenge app refund?" then Mr. Udit replied
Quote- "refund ka to nahi keh sakta, lkn kal apka Ramanuj sir sath one to one rakha hain, please do attend". Later they stopped responding.
Finally I decided to escalate this matter to HO and sent one detailed email on 26th Feb-22 to [protected]@careerlauncher.com and requested for my fee refund so that I can enrol myself somewhere else without wasting any further time.
After multiple email exchanges, finally on 2nd march-22 career launcher confirmed me that as per their rule book, fees cannot be refunded after 45-days.
Later I replied and confirmed that my online batch had actually started from 10th Jan-22 and my first intimation for refund of fees was conveyed to Mr. Udit on 23rd feb-22. Hence my case is well within 45-days and as per their rule book I am entitled to get my refund.
After this confirmation, career launcher stopped replying my email, even after 2-3 reminders. I also tried to call sector-62 branch but they are not responding in proper manner and trying to avoid me. Hence finally I decided to raise my voice to Consumer forum for my fee refund so that I can enroll myself in some other good institute for my CAT preparation.

Since it is a classroom program at Noida - Sec 62 Center, kindly contact them for the refund. You can email them or visit there.

Here I wanted to update you that my enrolment is for online programs only whereas you had advised me to contact noida branch for refund because of classroom program which is not correct statement.
Initially I booked this program under classroom program and paid 10, 000 on 30th Dec-21. Later before paying 100% fee (35000) I have converted my enrolment to online classes then only I had paid remaining fee 25000 online on 11th Jan-22. Please find proof of online payment via paytm.
Therefore please look into this case amicably and please process my fee refund ASAP.

Let me confirm you that in my case it is less than 45-days only because my online batch started from 10th Jan 2022.
Prior to this, I had booked classroom program on 30th dec2021 for demo purpose only which was fully refundable. Later after 2-demo classes i decided that I should go with online classes instead of classroom program and hence i discussed with Mr Udit (sector 62 official) to enrol me in online program only. After that they confirmed me that I should join new online batch which will be starting from 10th Jan-2022 and then I paid 100% fee on 11th Jan-2022 via paytm.
On 22nd Feb 2022, i decided not to continue even with online classes (details already mentioned in my previous email).
Then I contacted Mr Udit via WhatsApp and conveyed my concern that I am highly disappointed and wanted to discontinue this program and requested for refund of my fees. Unfortunately no one gave appropriate response hence I was forced to escalate this matter to the head office and sent email on 26th Feb 2022 and requested for my fee refund.
Please find below chat for your reference therefore from 10th Jan (batch started) to 23rd Feb (first intimation to carrier launcher) is less than 45-days only. Hence my case is very much in compliance with your rule book.
Therefore, I would request to please process my fee refund ASAP.
