CBSE — Date of birth rectification

My date of birth in the cbse class 10 certificate is incorrect with a huge gap of 9 years. I filed the application of change in date of birth with required documents and a draft for 1000rs payable at dehradun as specified by the school. there was no response to the application and my marksheet with correct date of birth didn't come back. Registration for class 12 is currently ongiong in my current school.
