Central Board Of Secondary Education [CBSE] — cbse class 10th 7 mar 2019 exam set 1

Address:Kannur, Kerala, 670561

Dear Sir,

My daughter is a consistent top performer in the school. But by giving a particular set of high difficulty level her morale has been completely shattered.

With regard to the Maths exam held on 7th Mar 2019, Question Paper Code No 30/4/1, Set 1 was of extreme difficulty level compared to Set 2 & 3.

Out of 30 excpet 9-10 questions all were out NCERT book, but most of the questions in Set 2 & 3 were from text book. Despite this fact main anomaly was as mentioned below.

Q.No 24 was out of syllabus & from class 11.

Q No 25 was taken from optional section where its clearly mentioned with Asterisk that these questions are not from exam point of view.

Q No 28 was of extreme difficult level time consuming when compared to similar question in Set 2 & 3.

Considering the above three questions alone the student looses 12 marks for no mistake of their's except that due to their hard luck they got Set 1.

Now is this exam a game of luck or sort of gambling for the child. I don't wish to believe so.
What mistake has students who got Set 1 committed to have to face this kind of injustice?

Being an ex CBSE student myself I have complete faith vested on the system and hope the children who attempted Set 1 gets justice.

Regards,
KG Rajesh
