Central Board Of Secondary Education [CBSE] — Errors in class 10th term1 English board paper

Sir/ Ma'am
With due respect, I would like to inform that there are many errors in the answer key released of 10th class English question paper whose question paper code no. is 002/2/4, series no. is JSK/2 and set no. is 4.
These only errors are not responsible for my less scores in English exam. Some mistakes were done from my side too . I had not prepared for the paper well because I am suffering from chronic problems but I am ready to admit that the mistakes occurred due to my personal reasons are to be handled by me . I will not complain here wrong deliberately for my personal gains.
《《《But,
There were really some mistakes from your side as well . 》》》

● 1) Some questions were unclear and
ambiguous. ( Que 16., Que 29., Que 32.,
Que 33., Que 34., Que 40., Que 52.,
Que 56., Que 58. )

● 2) Some questions required a very high
psychological knowledge and
understanding. But this is neither taught
separately in my school nor clearly given
in our Ncert English books. We also don't
have psychology as a compulsory
subject in 10th class. Only some students
can do them who are interested in
psychology and who read the chapters
in full depth consuming much mind
energy and time ( may be in coaching
classes) but they can also do
only those psychological questions
whose one of 4 options is in reality
correct .
If one thinks that everyone
learns psychology somewhere and
sometimes in their life, I would say that
he or she is not wrong in saying this but
the level of psychology one understands
differs from one person to another.
If a
child is crying, some children of 2 or 3
years will understand that something
wrong is with him and that child wants
something which he did not get but
some children will not understand it
very quickly .
They may understand
when they grow 4 years old or 5 years
old. If all the levels of psychology were
understandable to everyone then
there would have been no cases in
existence where one hurts the
sentiments of the other or where one
frauds someone else.
I don't have full
knowledge of the psychology of the
10th class student so there may be
one or two questions wrongly
mentioned here below but it is 100%
true that these questions and their
answers cannot be told and explained
by many teachers teaching in India.
I
don't say that I have more
knowledge than teachers.

I say that
giving such type of questions to 10th
class students is not fair when the Ncert books don't have these points clearly mentioned or all the rural and urban schools' teachers have not taught students so deeply in online education.

Only a few students would have solved the below mentioned questions very easily and might have been puzzled by multiple correct options.

(Que 7., Que 15., Que 28., Que 29., Que 35., Que 36., Que 41., Que 43., Que 46, Que 47., Que 48., Que 49. )

● 3) Some questions had none of the
options fully appropriate . I don't say that
there questions were wrong. These
questions did not have one correct
option.
(Que 6., Que 33., Que 38., Que 54. )

● 4) Some questions had more than
option as correct .
《 It is true that many
questions in this world has more than
one answers and one answer can be
said in many other ways. 》

《It does not
mean that some other faulty questions
were also ambiguous.》
《 It means that the
creator of those questions did not put
one option only as correct and other
options as different. 》
《It might be that the
creator want to take test of the
students' mind and puzzle them with
multiple similar options but the creator
should also have put the options in
accordance with the guidelines of
forming a multiple choice question. 》

《The correct tricky mcq has only one option as correct and other options don't have any chance to be correct. 》 ...

《 If other options have chances to be also as correct answer of that question then that tricky mcq is not correctly formed. 》

《 .. So, a creator should view a question from the perspective of a first time reader who has not seen its answer but that reader should also have learnt the syllabus well . 》

《《If a question has more than options as correct it can be because it is no stated clearly and is ambiguous. 》》

( Que 2., Que 8., Que 9., Que 11., Que 16., Que 17., Que 18., Que 29., Que 32., Que 34., Que 35., Que 36., Que 39., Que 40., Que 43., Que 44., Que 45., Que 47., Que 49., Que 52., Que 55., Que 58., Que 59. )

● 5) Some errors are there in the answer
.. key .
《《 It does not show the right
answer of some questions . The
correct answers can be proved too.》》

《《 We
have studied them in the syllabus and
some are clearly evident from the
unseen passages. 》》

《《 In the answer key,
it is displayed that some questions, which should have multiple options
correct, have only one option correct.》》

( Que 2.,
Que 6. ( it has none of the options correct), Que 9.,
Que 11.,
Que 13.,
Que 16.,
Que 17.,
Que 18.,
Que 26.,
Que 28.,
Que 29.,
Que 30.,
Que 32.,
Que 33. ( it has none of the options as correct), Que 34.,
Que 35.,
Que 36.,
Que 37.,
Que 38.( it has none of the options as correct), Que 39., Q
ue 40. ( the format of asking this question is out of syllabus),
Que 43.,
Que 44.,
Que 45.,
Que 47.,
Que 49.,
Que 54. ( none of the options is correct ),
Que 55.,
Que 56. ( none of the options fits correct and the Que too is unclearly mentioned),
Que 58. ( none of the options is correct),
Que 59. )

● 6) There are two questions from the
second unseen passage whose
questions were not printed.

《《 It was
asked before the passage to tick the
most appropriate options from the given
options . It only means to tick the
appropriate options according to the
question asked otherwise it becomes
pointless to tick appropriate options. 》》》

《《 If no questions are mentioned, how will
we decide that according to what which
options are the most appropriate???》》》

I would be highly grateful to you for analyzing the above mentioned problems and responding positively without any big delay.
It would be very kind of you to forgive me for my mistakes done while writing this complaint letter, for misspelling words if any done and for making it sound serious and urgent.

Hope that my complaint would be listened and resolved positively as expected as soon as possible.

Yours faithfully
XYZ

I can assume that CBSE will not listen to any of my complaint and if it listens then it will disapprove it by giving any pointless and unmindful reason for disapproving my all the complaints. What the CBSE has done do far after 10 class term 1 exams have completed is that to prevent itself from coming in politics . It has taken politics till this day very urgent and not students' complaints because might be CBSE can easily listen of politicians and not of students. CBSE has completely dismissed our opinions, views and complaints by stating that everyone is uselessly highlighting the exam issues. It shows that CBSE has really no perfect reason for disapproving our requests in media. I will quiet after sometime because I have my term 2 exams coming shortly but CBSE will never read my full complaints until and unless it is urged to do by big politicians.
Please try to understand me positively.

10th English term 1 paper issue : It is seen that CBSE only tried to escape from bad fame in politics by giving full marks of passage 1 of set 1 to students . If they were really concerned about the mistake done from their side by providing controversial passage they would have lawfully provided full marks of that passage as grace marks rather than as free marks for that passage in English question paper .
Also, it is inequality to those students who did not get that set 1 .
Since students did not lose marks by reading that controversial passage of set 1, it only means that students attempting set 1 were not devoid of free rightful marks o[censored]nseen passage.
Students were devoid of the right to get appropriate unseen passage . This also does not mean that those students attempting set 2 were not devoid of the right to get appropriate unseen passage. Students attempting set 2 could have also got inappropriate unseen passage. What is the fault of students attempting set 2 that they did not get inappropriate unseen passage?

So, the law of equality should be for both the types of students ( one who attempted set1 and one who attempted set 2 ) since set 2 attempting students did not deliberately choose set 2.
Hence, concerning the laws of equality and fair judgement,

1) Students who attempted set 1 should be given full marks of the unseen passage 1 of set 1 of english paper as grace marks in English paper which means those will act as additional marks to the total marks they scored.
Full free marks for unseen passage 1 should not there because many students had attempted that passage and would have attempted all its questions according to the passage .
It was not like that all the students did not attempt the questions of that passage just because it was inappropriate.

2) Students who got set 2 should also be awarded the full marks of that passage as grace marks because they did not deliberately choose set 2.
It was not on their hand to choose set 2 or set 1.

They attempted that question paper which they were given to do.

They could have also got inappropriate passage because in set 1 there was such one passage.
If students who attended set 1 got extra marks will it not be unfair to the other students and that also because other students did not set 1 ?
They could have also got such inappropriate unseen passage because it was not a choice to choose any of the two sets .

What is the fault of the other students of that same batch that they were devoid of the extra marks ?

I don't say that every batch of 10th class student should get extra marks for that unseen passage.
I say that concerning the probability of the students getting inappropriate passages and no choice to choose any of the sets been given to students, there is no fault of the other students and also it is not a matter of luck and unluck.

It is the matter of fair law of equality and justice for all.
Thank you
