Your organistaion has been of great help to people and I too am writing to you in the context of harassment that I faced at my workplace, so called number one school of Kashmir DPS Athwajan .This is with reference to the termination letter given to me which doesn't cite reason of my removal.I had been appointed in DPS Athwajan as P.A to Principal and joined my services on 04th Dec 2020. Due to this offer I have left my job at GD Goebka Public school Lalbazar as P.A to Principal. I was selected from seven candidates against this permanent vacancy. From the very first day she was threatening me that I would be packed soon. she assigned me a work that within a week I had to complete drafting of three letters and three memos which I have completed and forwarded to her in time. A series of mental harassments followed from her. On Thursday the 18th Feb 2021 she asked me to submit my resignation for reasons not known to me. She did not give any reasons rather said that during probation period one can be removed without any notice which I had signed and agreed but, it did not explicitly or implicitly mean that I could be removed for no reasons .There was not a single work which I refused to do or did not do when assigned to me by her.She has been perpetrating mental, physical and emotional torture on me. Right from the first day I am mentally and physically harassed .She was torturing and harassing me with a sadistic motive and now taking away my livelihood from me, only on the basis of her likings and disliking.I would like to put forward to you few of the incidences which creates all the reasons to think that I am hired to be fired.I tried to discuss the same with Mr Vijay Dhar Chairman of the school but unfortunately Sir couldn’t owe 5 minnutes of his precious time to his employee .
I was never ever given any note, caution or warning for improvement except a threatening introduction that I will be packed while assigning any work to me. I do not understand why she has gone very much personal with me. She asked me to pull your trouser from her shoes and reiterating that not in front of the camera but do it in the corner so that nobody would be able to see it she has asked me to make tea for her in front of the In-charges where as we have supporting staff for the same Despite reminding her of the support staff for making tea she has number of times told me why will you not make it "you don't work at your home ", " let me see the skills of your tea making ".
I have been asked to do even these personal works of her too. Every day she made me carry her bag and her personal belongings form the car to her office.
Is going around collecting attendance the duty of the secretary to Principal? she has asked me to do this work every day which could be done by an office boy.
26th and 27th of January she told me that we will be staying home and directed me" since i am giving you two days off so look for the same lunch bag online for me as of yours"
I am asked to draft all letters the Vice Principal has to send. But neither any letter is dictated to me nor any background for drafting is properly briefed to me. No copies of any of the previous communications on most of these matters are maintained before me for reference in our office. When a letter is drafted to the point it was not accepted by you because it has elaboration. An elaborate letter is not satisfactory, and then it is changed as to a brief letter. Being satisfied in some ones drafting is subjective.
I am not given a proper induction. No job description is given to me.
I am asked even why I am not taking care of her lunch and tea and remind her of her medicines."do i have to remind you minha my tea and lunch is your duty".
After eating my lunch everyday she passed sarcastic comments " what do you eat, give this lunch box here you dont need to eat it "
It is not in my understanding that serving tea and lunch is the job of P.A to Principal.
Is it appropriate to call any of your colleagues”KALTOONJ”? But she did not feel any offence in calling me so.
One mistake she found in me is that I don’t remember all employees names in these three months’ time and cannot recollect in which block the are placed in. Please note that these all employees were not reporting to school and I had no chance to meet them too. Certain expectations of her’s are impossible tasks to remember only in two months time..
Right from 2014, the employees files and documents could not be managed under her esteemed leadership .she assigned me the completion of these work with in twenty days and refused to give me any helping hand in this work .I was scanning the files in IT and she called me downstairs just to give her a glass of warm water .
she did not sanction my application for an educational leave I had applied on 3 of February supported by the date sheet. From Feb 13rd 2021 onwards I had five examinations.She has refused to sanction leave for taking exams. Thus I missed all five days examinations In this world where a person with a BSc and BLib could become the vice principal you may not recognize the importance of advancing the qualifications .
Whenever she conducted meetings, she never shared the information with me. But you expected me to maintain minutes. In the school car in front of driver she has number of times asked me why am I not marrying that is so unprofessional of her .she even told “ what is the need of studying let it be now ask your parents to get you married”
On 18th Feb onwards, she has abruptly stopped the pic and drop by school car along. Subsequently my access to the campus manager is denied.
On 19/02/2021 when I went to my office Principals email id password has been already reset denying access to me. There was already a person in my office before me who said that this is the order of Vice principal. In these cases I cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to any document from my office or any divulging of information from files and computer.On 25 of February I was given a termination letter stating the reason that your services are no longer needed .I have sent mails also to Mr.Dhar(Chairman) And Ms.Shafaq Afshan(Vice-Principal) regarding the same but to my dismay no response was given by them .
Respected Sir/Ma’am, these harassments I faced from her is causing a big toll on my life, mentally, emotionally and physically, even natural justice is being denied to me . I would like to know for what reasons a treatment of this sort is given to me . Your good self is requested to kindly look into the matter and save other women from undergoing such harassments at workplace. waiting for the strict action to be taken against such sadist lady .
