Dear Sir/Madam
My son Prakhar Varshney, Roll Number ... School Code 85185 had appeared for class XIIth examination during the session 2020-21 for which result has also been declared on 30.07.2021. Considering the present Pandemic situation, CBSE had decided to declare the result based on past records and internal assessment by the respective schools. Accordingly, detailed guidelines had also been issued by CBSE. To my surprise the marks scored by my son are only 77.2% which when simulated based on CBSE guidelines and past records(Class Xth 93.44%, XIth 72.4%, XIIth practical almost full, class XII pre-Board theory 90.27%) works out to be more than 95%.
From the above outcome, it appears there has been some tabulation and or typographical error in punching the data by the school. Since present pandemic situation is not over, it may not be feasible to appear for actual examination and poor marks may spoil the entire career of my son, it is requested my past records may be rechecked under direct supervision of CBSE.
