Central Board Of Secondary Education [CBSE] — Less marks in standard 10

My daughter who was scoring above 95% right from her LKG till 10th pre-board but to my surprise when the result was announced she got only 80%. She studied at Everwin Vidhyashram, kolathur, Chennai. When I approached the school they intimate that since the school comes in Zone 6, they can not give marks more than 430 and again is informed that CBSE sent external examiners and they reduced the marks again as per guidelines only three students should get more than 400-430 in this school.

If it is so CBSE is doing injustice to students who are studying in Zone 6 schools whereas those in the other parts of the city even scored 497, 489 etc( her friends from city schools).

Whether it is a good evaluation system and my child is crying from morning.
Now as an affected parent i want reply for these quereies
1. What is the evaluation criterion? whether it is based on the location of schools?
2. If i want revaluation what are the procedures?
3. Any examination will be conducted if we have grievance?
4. Based on these marks any schools or coaching institutes can deny admission.
5.If it is based on zonal location of schools whether it will be mentioned in the certificate?

Kindly clarify

My son is studying in a school called Everwin Vidhyashram right from 1st standard. He was the school toper every year as well he never scored less than 95 % of marks.
The X board results is just shocking that his marks was as 82 % .
He totally upset and he can't able to concentrate in his further studies.
The school is justifieng that it is not his original marks, the cbse committee had classified the school as 6th Zone and they decided the maximum marks for this school should be like this.
Already the reservation system is keeping his medical dreams as a task and now this attitude typically kills that . He now lost is complete confident in the neet coaching, That it is complete waste of time and money for the process which is already decided of the medical candidates.
We are also facing similar issue being in the same school Everwin Vidhyashra. Principal confirmed the marks given where not based on the students performance. Really not sure how the marking critieria was done by CBSE. Could you please give more information on this regard! Also why there is no assessment requested from school and marks where directly given by CBSE board
While making the evaluation criteria CBSE could have taken the past performance of the student for at least three years also .

As the board has cancelled the examination only considering the school location or school's past average (not Highest) reducing the marks of students up to 10-15% is not justifiable.

We hope CBSE may reformulate the formula considering the student's past performance too.
Yes they should give right marks to the students.. What other platform available to complaint.. It's been a week and no response..
