Central Board Of Secondary Education [CBSE] — Revaluation/Reconsideration/Rectification/Correction of 10th CBSE Main Result of Shaurya Ahuja, having CBSE Roll No: 14137529

Dear Sir/Ma’am,
Shaurya Ahuja is the student of K.R.Mangalam World School, S Block GK-2, New Delhi. He’s been a meritorious student throughout his schooling from KG to Tenth Standard. All throughout his schooling in K.R.Mangalam, he’s been securing very high marks/percentage in different grades and throughout from 4th standard till 9th standard he’s been consistently achieving Scholar/Super-Scholar Badges. Sir/Ma’am to our utter disbelief he has secured below expectation marks in his Class X boards final result.

Sir/Ma’am throughout his class 10th last year, he’s secured between 89-99% in every subject, in every periodic and written exams and further as per the new tabulation system, devised by CBSE, the average percentage of the best of periodics and the best of half-yearly/pre-boards is calculated and accordingly tabulated to assign final marks and percentage. Going by the given tabulation formula so devised, Shaurya Ahuja’s average percentage should be around 92-93% in his CBSE Main result, but he’s secured only 84%….

Sir/Ma’am we’re submitting all the marks, secured by Shaurya, in his Tenth Standard, covering all the periodic tests and the term exams including Pre-Board exams and which clearly showcases his subject-wise marks/percentage and his overall percentage. Further Sir/Ma’am we’re enclosing herewith Shaurya’s CBSE Main Result for the comparison between his 90% above marks secured all throughout his Tenth Standard and around 84% in CBSE Main Result.

Sir/Ma’am I hereby request your good self to kindly look into the matter and do justice with a meritorious student like Shaurya Ahuja, as grave injustice has been done with him and he’s suffered a great shock, seeing his CBSE Main board results.

Sir/Ma’am, if you carefully analyse the above marks/percentage of Shaurya’s Periodic-Tests/Pre-Board and compare it with his CBSE-Main Result, then you’ll see that there’s a palpable difference of about 10-12 marks in every subject. If we consider the formula worked out by CBSE, where the student’s best marks in every subject has to be tabulated and accordingly considered by the school, then the CBSE shall compile the marks and declare the total percentage according to such best marks, in every subject, so tabulated and considered by the respective school.

Sir/Ma’am in Shaurya’s case he’s secured near 90% to way above 90% in different subjects. In subjects like Maths, Science, Hindi and Social Science, he’s secured around 98% in Maths, 93% in Science, 93% in Hindi and 99% in Social Science, whereas in the CBSE Main Result he’s got only 85% in Maths, 80% in Science, 85% in Hindi and 82% in Social Science. Sir/Ma’am even if we calculate and work out Shaurya’s Total Percentage, out of the best marks in every subject, all through out the year, he should then secure around 93% in total but he’s got only 83.6%.
